Multiple photo uploads at a time would make it better.

I use google slides for all of my classroom presentations. I also have my students use google slides to keep track of the artwork like a ongoing portfolio. The app makes it easy to drop single photos into the slide show without having to download photos or email them to yourself first. My only complaint about the app is that you cannot upload more than one photo at a time from your camera roll. I take a lot of photos of artwork for my students and shuffling through hundreds of photos to get to things I took months ago can take a long time-it would be so helpful to be able to click on several photos at a time. I do the majority of my editing of my slides on a computer, I could edit from my phone but it is easier to fine tune things on a full computer. I primarily use the app to transfer the photos to my slides.

Too many bugs on iPad & iPhone

I make a lot of things on google slides, so I thought the iPhone version would help me out
WRONG! This version of the software is very very buggy and limited! You can’t search the web to find photos, you have to screenshot them yourself! So many good features on the desktop version are thrown away for the App Store version!!! I would think that this was a rip-off made my different people if I didn’t know better!! Don’t get me started on the bugs, because they are horrible. Sometimes your work doesn’t save, which means you need to do everything AGAIN, which isn’t even that bad compared to clicking on things. If you click on something, for example, a shape, it’ll click on something far below or higher then where your finger actually was!! The worst part of all of this is the fact that they don’t even read any of these reviews! None of these problems have been fixed!!! So, to the person reading this I’d like to say, DON’T WASTE YOUR STORAGE ON THIS APP!!!! Update: So for the first time ever, a few things were fixed. Luckily enough, I actually did get a response, and they have fixed a few bugs and added a few new features. HOWEVER they still need to fix a lot of things and add more features

Developer Response ,

Hi there. We suggest you refresh the app: Settings - Slides - Background App Refresh. Also, thanks for sharing your valuable feedback. We'll pass this along to our team. Appreciate it!

Not optimized for the iPad.

You cant change the background color, only the theme, you have limited color options for text and gradient. No, you can't create your own colors. You can't animate text and its hard to put pictures and text on different layers(ie. send to back/send to front). This feels like something to be used alongside the computer version instead of standalone. I only have my iPad for school work and i haven't been supplied technology so im just stuck. I have to ask other people who have computers to borrow theirs just to change the colors on my background and create custom colors and add them to my theme. THIS IS AN ACCESORY NOT A FULL ITEM. The thing is, this could be easily fixed. This worst laptops can run google sliders so Performance issues isn't the issue. A phone or an iPad, especially the big and chunky ones, can totally handle a fully optimized google slides. Proof? Canva and powerdirector. They have so much stuff and great functionality, but most importantly, they have a fully optimized service that's the same on the ipad and computer(except for the fact that some of the functions are different). This is just pure laziness, and im sick of it.

Tips on Creating Powerpoint Files from Google Drive Presentations

  • Downloading Powerpoint presentations won’t affect your Google Slides files. You will still have the original file in your Google Drive.

Google Chrome is a user-friendly web browser that is packed with useful features and intuitive controls. It’s also the default browser for pretty much any Chrome-branded product you purchase. Even if you prefer Safari or Firefox, we bet Chrome has one or two things you would dig. But what if you've added Google Chrome to your Windows or macOS machine, and you’ve decided you don’t like the dang thing?

Google Drive is an excellent cloud storage platform for individuals and teams. You can use Drive to upload, share, and collaborate on just about everything, from docs to spreadsheets, images, and videos. Best of all, every Google Account receives 15GB of free storage. So what’s the best way to start moving files around? You should probably start by creating some folders in Google Drive, and load them up with content.

Whether for personal preference or as a requirement for the APA or MLA writing style, we’ll show you how to double-space in Google Docs.

The nice part about this format in Google Docs is that you can apply it to the entire document or only selected blocks of text. Plus, you can double-space in Google Docs on the web and in the mobile app.

How to upgrade your pc to windows 11.

Here's how to get Windows 11 on most PCs.

Quick Links

How to check if windows 11 supports your pc, the safe and slow way: windows update, download windows 11 with the update assistant, create a bootable windows 11 usb drive, if your pc isn't officially supported, key takeaways.

  • Run Microsoft's PC Health Check app to determine if your PC is eligible for an upgrade to Windows 11.
  • You can use Windows Update to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • You may also use the Update Assistant or the Windows Media Creation tool to upgrade manually.

If you've decided you want to upgrade from Windows 10 , here's how you can get the free upgrade—even if Windows Update doesn't offer it. This works if Windows 11 doesn't officially support your PC, too.

To check if Windows 11 officially supports your PC hardware , download and run Microsoft's PC Health Check app .

Click the "Check Now" button and the tool will tell you whether Windows 11 officially supports your PC. If it doesn't, the tool will give you information about why. If the problem is lack of TPM 2.0, for example, you may be able to turn TPM 2.0 on in your PC's UEFI firmware (BIOS.)

Here's the good news: Even if your PC isn't officially supported, you can still upgrade to Windows 11 anyway . It's up to you, but Microsoft warns you may experience problems and won't guarantee future updates for Windows on your hardware. We've already seen some old CPUs left behind when Microsoft rolled out new instruction sets.

For the safest possible update process, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update on your Windows 10 PC. (You can press Windows+i to quickly open the Settings app.)

Click the "Check for Updates" button to see if any updates are available. If Microsoft thinks your PC is ready for Windows 11, you'll see a "Windows 11 is ready—and it's free!" banner here. Click "Download and install" to get it.

If Windows 11 doesn't officially support your PC, you will never see the update offered via Windows Update. (But don't worry, Windows 10 will still be officially supported until October 2025 .)

Microsoft offers a variety of tools for downloading Windows 11 , including the Update Assistant. The Update Assistant is designed to be very simple to use.

Visit Microsoft's Download Windows 11 page, then download and install the Windows 11 Update Assistant. It will walk you through all the necessary steps.

You can also use the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable Windows 11 USB , or download a Windows 11 ISO for use on a virtual machine.

If you encounter a problem, note that you can downgrade back to Windows 10 within the first ten days after upgrading.

If your PC isn't officially supported, and you want to upgrade anyway, you will have to do some legwork to figure out why. There are several ways to install Windows 11 on an unsupported PC .

In some cases, you will be able to make your PC officially supported. In other cases, you may have to accept the risk of bugs and problems with future updates if you'd like to upgrade. Microsoft has already blocked

Whether you actually want to accept the risk of problems is up to you, but we encourage you to keep older PCs on Windows 10 unless you're enthusiastic about upgrading them for a particular reason.
