‘ప‌ఠాన్‌’తో మ‌ళ్లీ ఫామ్‌లోకి వ‌చ్చిన షారుక్‌ ఖాన్ ఈ సారి ‘జ‌వాన్‌’ (Jawan)గా ప్రేక్ష‌కుల ముందుకొచ్చాడు. ఈ సినిమా కోసం ప్రేక్ష‌కులు ఎంత ఆత్రుత‌గా ఎదురుచూశారో దాని అడ్వాన్స్ బుకింగ్స్ చాటి చెప్పాయి. బాలీవుడ్ బాద్‌షా షారుక్‌ ఖాన్... ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు అట్లీ క‌లసి చేసిన సినిమా కావ‌డంతో ఉత్త‌రాదిలోనే కాకుండా ద‌క్షిణాదిలోనూ ఆస‌క్తిని, అంచ‌నాల్ని పెంచింది. మ‌రి సినిమా ఎలా ఉంది?(Jawan movie review) షారుక్‌ తన విజ‌య ప‌రంప‌ర‌ని కొనసాగించాడా?

కథేంటంటే: గుండుతో క‌నిపించే ఓ అజ్ఞాత వ్య‌క్తి (షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌) త‌న గ్యాంగ్‌లోని ఆరుగురు అమ్మాయిలతో క‌లిసి ముంబైలోని మెట్రో రైల్‌ని హైజాక్ చేస్తాడు. ప్ర‌భుత్వాన్ని రూ.40 వేల కోట్లు ఇవ్వాల్సిందేనని డిమాండ్ చేస్తాడు. ఆ క్ర‌మంలో ప్ర‌యాణికుల ప్రాణాల్ని తీయ‌డానికి కూడా వెన‌కాడ‌డు. హైజాక‌ర్ల‌ని ప‌ట్టుకోవ‌డం కోసం ఐపీఎస్ న‌ర్మ‌ద ( Nayanthara ) ని రంగంలోకి దింపుతుంది అధికార యంత్రాంగం. అయినా తాను అనుకున్న‌ది సాధించి చాక‌చ‌క్యంగా త‌ప్పించుకుంటాడు. త‌న‌కి ఇచ్చిన రూ.40 వేల కోట్ల‌ని పేద‌ల ఖాతాల్లో జ‌మ చేస్తాడు. న‌యా రాబిన్‌ హుడ్‌ లాంటి ఆ హైజాక‌ర్ వ్య‌వ‌హారం సంచ‌ల‌నంగా మారుతుంది. న‌ర్మ‌ద‌, త‌న బృందం సాగించిన ప‌రిశోధ‌న‌లో హైజాక‌ర్...  ఓ కారాగారంలో విధులు నిర్వ‌ర్తించే జైల‌ర్ ఆజాద్ (షారుక్‌ ఖాన్) పోలిక‌ల‌తో ఉన్న‌ట్టు తేలుతుంది. జైల‌ర్ ఆజాద్ హైజాక‌ర్‌గా మారాడా? ఆయ‌న వెంట ఉన్న ఆరుగురు యువ‌తులు ఎవ‌రు? ఒక‌ప్పుడు ఆర్మీలో ప‌నిచేసిన విక్ర‌మ్ రాథోడ్ (షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌)కీ, ఆజాద్‌కీ సంబంధం ఏంటి? (Jawan movie review) ప‌్ర‌పంచంలోని ఐదో అతి పెద్ద ఆయుధాల వ్యాపారి కాళీ గైక్వాడ్ (విజ‌య్ సేతుప‌తి) క‌థేంటి? త‌దిత‌ర విష‌యాల్ని తెర‌పై చూడాల్సిందే.

ఎలా ఉందంటే: ద‌క్షిణాదిలో ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగు, త‌మిళ భాష‌ల్లోని అగ్ర తార‌ల సినిమాల‌న‌గానే తారాస్థాయి హీరోయిజం... వీరోచిత‌మైన పోరాటాలు, సామాజికాంశాలు, అభిమానుల్ని మెప్పించే ఇత‌ర‌త్రా మాస్ అంశాల మేళవింపుగా రూపొందుతుంటాయి. క‌థ కాస్త ఆస‌క్తిక‌రంగా సాగిందంటే చాలు... ఆ సినిమాల‌కి ఆకాశ‌మే హ‌ద్దు.  అలాంటి ఓ క‌థ‌లోనే బాలీవుడ్ బాద్‌షా షారుక్‌  ( Shah Rukh Khan ) ని చూపించారు అట్లీ. ఆయ‌న‌కి షారుక్‌ ఇమేజ్‌, మార్కెట్ మ‌రింత‌గా క‌లిసి రావ‌డంతో సినిమాకు అదనపు హంగులు జోడించి తెర‌కెక్కించారు. దాంతో ప్ర‌తి స‌న్నివేశం లార్జ‌ర్ దేన్ లైఫ్ త‌ర‌హాలో ఉంటుంది. ఒక్క మాట‌లో చెప్పాలంటే.. ఇది అట్లీ మార్క్ హిందీ సినిమా.

షారుక్‌ ఖాన్ ఎప్పుడూ క‌నిపించ‌నంత మాస్‌గా... వైవిధ్యమైన గెట‌ప్పుల్లో క‌నిపించ‌డం ఆయ‌న అభిమానుల‌కి మ‌రింత ఉత్సాహాన్నిస్తుంది. వ్య‌వ‌సాయశాఖ మంత్రి, ఆరోగ్యశాఖ మంత్రి నేప‌థ్యంలో వ‌చ్చే ఎపిసోడ్స్ ప్ర‌థ‌మార్ధానికి హైలైట్‌. ఒక‌వైపు ఆజాద్‌ని ప‌ట్టుకోవ‌డం కోసం ప్ర‌య‌త్నాలు.. మ‌రోవైపు ప్రేమ స‌న్నివేశాల నేప‌థ్యం మంచి డ్రామాని పండించింది. విరామ స‌న్నివేశాలు సినిమాను మరో స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లాయి. విక్ర‌మ్ రాథోడ్‌గా షారుక్‌ ఖాన్ ప‌రిచ‌యం కావ‌డం, ఆ వెంట‌నే మొద‌ల‌య్యే ఫ్లాష్‌బ్యాక్ ఎపిసోడ్ సినిమాకి కీల‌కం. సెకండాఫ్‌లో ఈవీఎమ్ నేప‌థ్యంలో స‌న్నివేశాలు మరొక హైలైట్‌. షారుక్‌ క‌నిపించిన‌ప్పుడంతా అభిమానులు చ‌ప్ప‌ట్లు కొట్టేలా హీరోయిక్‌గా స‌న్నివేశాల్ని తీర్చిదిద్దాడు ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు. ప‌తాక స‌న్నివేశాలు, పోరాట ఘ‌ట్టాలు పైసా వ‌సూల్. ఈ క్ర‌మంలో ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు లాజిక్‌ల‌ని ప‌ట్టించుకోలేదు. కొన్ని స‌న్నివేశాలు మ‌రీ డ్ర‌మటిక్‌గా అనిపిస్తాయి. కానీ మాస్ మ‌సాలా సినిమాల్లో అలాంటి లెక్క‌ల్ని ప‌ట్టించుకోన‌వ‌స‌రం లేద‌న్న‌ట్టుగా అట్లీ త‌నదైన శైలిలో స‌న్నివేశాల్ని తీర్చిదిద్దుతూ వెళ్లాడు. షారుక్‌ అభిమానుల‌కి కావ‌ల్సినంత సంద‌డిని పంచే ఈ సినిమా... మాస్ మ‌సాలా సినిమాల ప్రియుల‌కీ మంచి కాల‌క్షేపాన్నిస్తుంది. హ్యాపీ ఓన‌మ్ అంటూ మాధ‌వ‌న్ నాయ‌ర్ పాత్ర‌లో సంజ‌య్ ద‌త్ చేసిన సంద‌డి సినిమాలో కొస‌మెరుపు.

ఎవ‌రెలా చేశారంటే: షారుక్‌ ఖాన్ ( Shah Rukh Khan ) మాస్ అవ‌తార్ అద‌ర‌హో అనిపిస్తుంది. ఆయ‌న రెండు కోణాల్లో సాగే పాత్ర‌లో చ‌క్క‌టి అభిన‌యం ప్ర‌ద‌ర్శించారు. ర‌క‌ర‌కాల గెట‌ప్పుల్లో ఒదిగిపోయిన తీరు మెప్పిస్తుంది. పాట‌లు, పోరాట ఘ‌ట్టాల్లో ఎప్ప‌ట్లాగే అద‌ర‌గొట్టిన షారుక్‌... సామాజికాంశాలు, కుటుంబం నేప‌థ్యంలో వ‌చ్చే స‌న్నివేశాల్లోనూ ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. న‌య‌న‌తార ఆరంభం నుంచి చివ‌రి వ‌ర‌కూ క‌నిపిస్తుంది. కీల‌క‌మైన పాత్రే అయినా... షారుక్‌కీ, ఆమెకీ మ‌ధ్య  కెమిస్ట్రీ అంత‌గా ఎలివేట్‌ కాలేదు. ఆ నేప‌థ్యంలో ఎక్కువ స‌న్నివేశాలు లేక‌పోవ‌డ‌మే అందుకు కార‌ణమేమో. కాళీ గైక్వాడ్‌గా విజ‌య్ సేతుప‌తి ద్వితీయార్ధంపై ప్ర‌భావం చూపిస్తారు. ప్రియ‌మ‌ణి, సాన్య మ‌ల్హోత్రా, రిద్ధి, సంజీత త‌దిత‌రులకి కీల‌క‌మైన పాత్ర‌ల‌కి ద‌క్కాయి. సాంకేతికంగా సినిమా ఉన్న‌తంగా ఉంది. విష్ణు కెమెరా ప‌నిత‌నం టాప్‌ నాచ్‌ అని చెప్పవచ్చు. అనిరుధ్ పాట‌ల కంటే కూడా నేప‌థ్య సంగీతంతో షారుక్‌ హీరోయిజాన్ని మ‌రోస్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లాడు. యాక్ష‌న్‌, ఎడిటింగ్‌, మేక‌ప్, ప్రొడ‌క్ష‌న్ డిజైన్ విభాగాలు కూడా స‌త్తా చాటాయి. అట్లీ క‌థ కంటే కూడా క‌థ‌నం గురించి ప్ర‌త్యేకంగా చెప్పుకోవాలి. ప‌లు పార్శ్వాలతో కూడిన ఈ క‌థ‌ని ఎంతో స్ప‌ష్టంగా చెప్పాడు. క‌థ‌ని మొద‌లుపెట్టిన విధానం, ముగింపు బాగుంది. నిర్మాణ విలువలు బాగున్నాయి.

కథ ఏమిటంటే: సినిమా ఓపెనింగ్ ఒక మెట్రో ట్రైన్ హైజాక్ తో ప్రారంభం అవుతుంది. ఆరుగురు యువతులు జైలర్ ఆజాద్( షారుఖ్) తో కూడిన ఒక టీం ఆ మెట్రో ట్రైన్ ను హైజాక్ చేసి అందులో అలియా అనే అమ్మాయి తండ్రి, బిజినెస్ మేన్ కాళీ గైక్వాడ్( విజయ్ సేతుపతి) నుంచి నలభై వేల కోట్లు డిమాండ్ చేస్తాడు. వచ్చిన డబ్బులతో రైతుల రుణమాఫీ చేసి తన పేరు విక్రమ్ రాథోడ్ అని అందరికీ రివీల్ చేస్తాడు. అదే తరహాలో ఆరోగ్య శాఖా మంత్రిని సైతం కిడ్నాప్ చేసి ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రులను బాగు చేస్తాడు. అయితే ఇవేం చెప్పకుండానే జైలర్ ఆజాద్ నర్మద (నయనతార)తో ప్రేమలో పడి పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటాడు. ప్రజల్లో హీరోలా మారుతున్న అతన్ని పట్టుకోవాలని అటు ప్రభుత్వం, కాళీ కష్టపడి అతన్ని ట్రాప్ చేసి చంపబోతే అతని తండ్రి విక్రమ్ రాథోడ్ (షారుఖ్) ఎంట్రీ ఇస్తాడు. అసలు విక్రమ్ రాథోడ్ ఎవరు? జైలర్ ఆజాద్ ఎవరు? వీరికి సంబంధం ఏమిటి? నర్మద ఆజాద్ గురించి నిజం తెలుసుకుందా? అసలు కాళీ గైక్వాడ్ ఎందుకు విక్రమ్ రాథోడ్ ను చంపాలి అనుకున్నాడు. లాంటి విశేషాలు తెలియాలి అంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే.

విశ్లేషణ: ఆర్మీలో పని చేసే నిజాయితీ గల ఒక వ్యక్తి దేశద్రోహిగా చిత్రీకరించబడి అనుమానాస్పద స్థితిలో మరణించడం, అతను దేశద్రోహి కాదు అని నిరూపించేందుకు అతని కుమారుడు ప్రయత్నించడం అనే కథాంశంతో గతంలో ఎన్నో సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. జవాన్ కూడా పూర్తిగా అదే లైన్ తో వచ్చిన సినిమా. విక్రమ్ రాథోడ్ అనే స్పెషల్ ఫోర్స్ కి సంబంధించిన వ్యక్తి ఆర్మీలో జరిగిన ఒక అవినీతి బయటపెట్టిన క్రమంలో ఆర్మీలో కొందరికి టార్గెట్ గా మారి దారుణంగా హత్య చేయబడతాడు.. ఆ తర్వాత కొన ఊపిరితో ఒక కుగ్రామానికి చేరి అక్కడి వారి వల్ల రక్షింపబడతాడు. కథ ఎక్కడా కొత్తగా అనిపించకపోయినా హీరో ఎలివేషన్లతో చాలావరకు ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు దర్శకుడు అట్లీ. నిజానికి షారుఖ్ ఖాన్ లాంటి హీరో దొరికినప్పుడు ఏదైనా కొత్త కథతో ప్రయోగం చేసాడేమో అని అందరూ అనుకున్నారు కానీ అట్లీ మాత్రం ఎలాంటి ప్రయోగాల జోలికి వెళ్లకుండా సంప్రదాయంగా, రొటీన్ గా మనం ఇప్పటికే చూసిన ఎన్నో కథలను సమహారంగా చేసి బాలీవుడ్ ప్రేక్షకులకు ఒక ఫీస్టులాగా అందించే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. సౌత్ లో ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు మనం ఎన్నో చూశాం, బాలీవుడ్ లో కూడా ఇలాంటి బ్యాక్గ్రౌండ్ ఉన్న సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. అయినా సరే షారుఖ్ ఖాన్ మార్క్ సినిమా మీద పూర్తి స్థాయిలో కనిపించింది. అలాగే ఇది ఒక బాలీవుడ్ సినిమా లాగా అనిపించకుండా సౌత్ సినిమాల ఎలిమెంట్స్ చాలా వరకు కనిపించాయి. ముఖ్యంగా విజయ్ సేతుపతి, నయనతార సహా ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో తమిళ సినిమాల్లో కనిపిస్తున్న అనేక మంది నటులు ఈ సినిమాలో కూడా కనిపించారు. ఆర్మీలో పనిచేసే తండ్రి చనిపోతే మీ తండ్రి చేసింది దేశద్రోహం కాదు అది నిరూపించాల్సింది నువ్వే అని తల్లి మాట నిలబెట్టేందుకు కొడుకు ఏం చేశాడు? అనే కథను ఎంచుకొని దానికి ఈ రోజు సమాజంలో ఉన్న రైతు ఆత్మహత్యలు, ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రులలో వసతుల లేమి, బ్యాంకులు లేని వారిని ఎలా వేధిస్తున్నాయి అనే విషయాలను హృదయాలకు టచ్ అయ్యే విధంగా తెరకెక్కించే ప్రయత్నం చేసి చాలావరకు అట్లీ సఫలమయ్యాడు. పూర్తిస్థాయి కమర్షియల్ సినిమాగా సినిమాని చూపిస్తూనే మరోపక్క సోషల్ మెసేజ్ ఇస్తూ రెండు బ్యాలెన్స్ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేసినట్లు అనిపించింది. కథలో చిన్న చిన్న లోపాలు పక్కన పెడితే ఓవరాల్ గా సినిమా మొత్తం ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించే విధంగా సాగింది.. సినిమాలోని కొన్ని చిన్న చిన్న ట్విస్టులు సైతం ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంజాయ్ చేసే విధంగా ఉన్నాయి. ముఖ్యంగా సంజయ్ దత్ స్పెషల్ ఎంట్రీ అయితే ఎవరు ఊహించని విధంగా డిజైన్ చేసుకున్నాడు డైరెక్టర్.

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే సౌత్ లో అనేక సినిమాలు చేసి సూపర్ హిట్లు అందుకున్న అట్లీ మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా షారుక్ ఖాన్ లాంటి ఒక సూపర్ స్టార్ ని డైరెక్ట్ చేస్తున్నాడు అంటే ఏదైనా కొత్త కథతో వస్తాడని అందరూ అనుకున్నారు. కానీ కొత్త కథ కాకుండా అందరికీ తెలిసిన కథతోనే వచ్చి ఒక్కసారిగా అందరినీ ఆకట్టుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. ముఖ్యంగా సినిమా మొత్తం మీద సౌత్ మార్క్ చాలా స్పష్టంగా కనిపించింది.. షారుఖ్ తో పలికించిన డైలాగులు కొన్ని ఆలోచింపచేసే విధంగా ఉన్నాయి. అదేవిధంగా షారుఖ్ లోని కామెడీ టైమింగ్ ని కూడా బాగా వాడుకున్నాడు అట్లీ. రొటీన్ కథే అయినా ఎక్కడా కూడా బోర్ కొట్టకుండా.. అటు భావోద్వేగాలతో.. ఇటు యాక్షన్ తో ఎంటర్టైన్ చేస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. జవాన్ కథ పాతదైనా.. షారుఖ్ ఖాన్ సినిమా కోసం ప్రాణం పెట్టినట్టు అనిపించింది, అన్ని వేరియేషన్స్ చూపాడు.డైలాగ్ వెర్షన్ చాలా బావుంది. అనిరుద్ రవి చందర్ అందించిన బ్యాక్గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ కొన్ని చోట్ల గూస్ బాంప్స్ తెప్పించింది కానీ సాంగ్స్ మాత్రం పూర్తిస్థాయిలో ఆకట్టుకోలేదు. కొన్ని పాటలు కాచీగా ఉన్నాయి కానీ మరికొన్ని మాత్రం విజువల్ గా బాగున్నాయి. నటీనటుల విషయానికి వస్తే తండ్రి కొడుకులుగా రెండు పాత్రలలో నటించిన షారుక్ ఖాన్ తన నట విశ్వరూపాన్ని చూపించాడు. నయనతార కూడా చాలా ఈజ్ తో నటించినట్లు అనిపించింది. విజయ్ సేతుపతి కూడా తనకు బాగా అచ్చొచ్చిన విలన్ పాత్రలో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. కానీ విజయ్ సేతుపతినీ డామినేట్ చేసే విధంగా షారుఖ్ నటన ఉంది.. దీపికా పడుకొనే కనిపించింది కొంతసేపే అయినా షారుఖ్ తో కెమిస్ట్రీ బాగుంది. ప్రియమణి పాత్ర కూడా బాగా డిజైన్ చేశారు ప్రియమణి ఆకట్టుకునేలా నటించింది. మిగతా నటీనటులు అందరూ తమ తమ పాత్రల పరిధి మేరకు నటించారు.

Jawan review: 'జవాన్‌' మూవీ రివ్యూ.

బాలీవుడ్ కింగ్‌ షారుక్ ఖాన్ - నయనతార నటించిన చిత్రం జవాన్. సౌత్‌ ఇండియా పాపులర్ తమిళ డైరెక్టర్ అట్లీ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమా నేడు (సెప్టెంబర్ 7) విడుదల అయింది. బాలీవుడ్‌లో కొన్నేళ్లుగా బాద్ షాగా అలరిస్తున్నాడు కింగ్ ఖాన్ షారుక్ . తన డ్యాన్స్, యాక్టింగ్‍తో కోట్లాది మంది అభిమానులను సంపాదించుకున్నాడు. ఇటీవల పఠాన్ సినిమాతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చి కలెక్షన్ల సునామీ సృష్టించాడు. పఠాన్‌కు ముందు సుమారు రెండేళ్ల పాటు బాలీవుడ్‌లో సరైన హిట్‌ లేకపోవడంతో అక్కడ సౌత్‌ సినిమాల హవా కొనసాగింది.

అలాంటి సమయంలో పఠాన్‌ విడుదల కావడం. బాక్సాఫీస్‌ వద్ద కలెక్షన్ల సునామీ క్రియేట్‌ చేసి బాలీవుడ్‌ కింగ్‌ అనిపించుకున్నాడు. అలా పఠాన్‌ సినిమాతో బాలీవుడ్‌కు మళ్లీ పూర్వ వైభవం తెచ్చిన  షారుక్‌.. తాజాగా 'జవాన్‌'తో మరోసారి తన సత్తా చాటేందకు రెడీ అయ్యాడు. నయనతార, డైరెక్టర్‌ అట్లీ ఈ సినిమాతో హిట్‌ కొట్టి బాలీవుడ్‌లో తమ సత్తా నిరూపించుకోవాలనే ప్లాన్‌లో ఉన్నారు. పాన్‌ ఇండియా రేంజ్‌లో విడుదుల అయిన జవాన్‌ రివ్యూ ఎలా ఉందో చూద్దాం. 

‘జవాన్‌’ కథేంటంటే.. కథ ప్రారంభంలో నీటి ప్రవాహంలో పూర్తి గాయాలతో షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌ (విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌) కొట్టుకొని వస్తాడు. అటవీ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన కొందరు ఆయన్ను గుర్తించి చికిత్స అందిస్తారు. కొద్దిరోజుల తర్వాత అదే గ్రామస్తులపై కొందరు దుండగులు దాడులు చేసేందుకు వస్తారు. నిస్సాహయ స్థితిలో ఉన్న వారిని షారుక్‌ రక్షిస్తాడు.. అలా కథ ముందుకు వెళ్తున్న సమయంలో ముంబై నగరంలో ఒక మెట్రోను షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌ (విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌) అండ్‌ టీమ్‌ హైజాక్‌ చేస్తారు.

ఆ టీమ్‌లో ప్రియమణి, మాన్య మల్హౌత్రతో పాటు మరో నలుగురు ఉంటారు. ఇండియన్‌ ఆర్మీలో పనిచేసే ఒక జవాన్‌ (షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌) మెట్రోను ఎందుకు హైజాక్‌ చేశాడు. .? ఆ హైజాక్‌ సీన్‌లోకి ఐపీఎస్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌గా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చిన నయనతారకు (నర్మద) ఎలాంటి సంఘటనలు ఎదురౌతాయి..? విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌ కోసం ఆ అమ్మాయిలు ఎందుకు పనిచేశారు..? వెపన్స్‌ డీలర్‌గా ఉన్న విజయ్‌ సేతుపతితో ఆర్మీలో పని చేస్తున్న విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌కు ఎక్కడ విరోదం మొదలౌతుంది..? ఒక జవాన్‌పై దేశ ద్రోహి అనే ముద్ర పడటం వెనుక జరిగిన కథ ఏంటి..? అనేదే మిగతా కథ.

ఎలా ఉందంటే..  యాక్షన్‌ రివేంజ్‌ సినిమాలు టాలీవుడ్‌ నుంచి బాలీవుడ్‌ వరకు అనేకం వచ్చాయి. కానీ ఇందులో మెసేజ్‌ ఓరియేంటేడ్‌ రివేంజ్‌ డ్రామాగా దర్శకుడు తెరకెక్కించాడు. అన్ని సినిమాల మాదిరే దేశం కోసం ప్రాణాలు ఆర్పించే సైనికుడికే నష్టం జరిగితే దాని రియాక్షన్‌ ఎలా ఉంటుందో ఈ కథకు మూలం. డైరెక్టర్‌ అ‍ట్లీ తమిళ హీరో విజయ్‌తో తెరి, మెర్సిల్‌, బిగిల్‌ వంటి వరుస బ్లాక్‌ బస్టర్‌ సినిమాలు తీసి బాలీవుడ్‌లో అవకాశం దక్కించుకున్నాడు. ఆ మూడు సినిమాల మాదిరే జవాన్‌లో కూడా మంచి మెసేజ్‌ను ఇచ్చాడు.

ముఖ్యంగా ఇందులో సినిమా ప్రారంభంలో మెట్రో హైజాక్‌ సీన్‌ చాలా బాగుంటుంది. ఆ సీన్‌లో విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌తో కేంద్ర వ్యవసాయశాఖ మంత్రి, ఆరోగ్యశాఖ మంత్రి మధ్య వచ్చే సీన్లు జవాన్‌కు ప్లస్‌ అవుతాయి. ఎందుకంటే కథలో మేజర్‌ సీన్లు ఇవే. ఫస్టాఫ్‌లో సినిమాకు ఇవే బలం. దేశంలో రైతుల ఆత్మహత్యలకు కారణాలు ఏంటో గుర్తు చేయడంతో పాటు ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్పత్రుల పనితీరు ఎలా ఉందో దర్శకుడు చెప్పిన విధానం ప్రేక్షకుల చేత చప్పట్లు కొట్టిస్తుంది. ఇలాంటి పలు సోషియల్‌ ఇష్యూలతో జవాన్‌ మొదటి భాగం ఉంటుంది. అవన్నీ కూడా గతంలో పలు సినిమాల్లో చూసినట్లు అనిపిస్తున్నా... షారుక్‌ నటన, యాక్షన్స్‌ సీన్స్‌ ముందు అవన్నీ ఆడియన్స్‌ పెద్దగా పంటించుకోరు. 

మెట్రో హైజాక్‌ చేసింది విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌ అయితే..  ఈ విషయంలో జైలర్‌గా ఉన్న ఆజాద్‌ను నయనతార అరెస్ట్‌ చేయాలని భావిస్తుంది. ఆ సమయంలో విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌, ఆజాద్‌కు ఉన్న బంధాన్ని ప్రియమణి రివీల్‌ చేసిన విధానం చాలా బాగుంటుంది. ఇంటర్వెల్‌కు ముందు నుంచి జరిగే ఈ సీన్స్‌ సినిమాకే హైలెట్‌గా నిలుస్తాయి. కానీ సెకండాఫ్‌లో కూడా మంచి యాక్షన్‌ సీన్‌తో కథ ప్రారంభం అయినా తర్వాత కొంత నెమ్మదిస్తుంది. అక్కడక్కడా వచ్చే కొన్ని సీన్స్‌ అంతగా పండించవనే చెప్పవచ్చు.

ఈ సినిమాలో ఆజాద్‌ జైలర్‌ అయితే విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌ ఒక జవాన్‌ ఇద్దరూ కూడా దేశం కోసం పనిచేస్తున్నవారే.. కానీ ఒక 'జవాన్‌' తన ప్రాణాలకు తెగించి యుద్ద రంగంలో పాల్గొన్నప్పుడు.. శత్రువు కూడా బుల్లెట్ల వర్షం కురిపిస్తూ ఎదురుదాడి చేస్తాడు. ఇలాంటి సమయంలో 'జవాన్‌' చేతిలో ఉన్న గన్‌ పనిచేయకపోతే ఏం జరుగుతుంది..? దేశం కోసం రణరంగంలోకి దిగిన 'జవాన్‌' ప్రాణాలు పోతాయి. సేమ్‌ 'జవాన్‌' సినిమాలో కూడా ఇదే జరుగుతుంది. ఈ సన్నివేశం తీసిన విధానం చాలా బాగుంటుంది.

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే.. విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌, ఆజాద్‌ పాత్రలో షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌ దుమ్ములేపారు అనడంలో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. ఆయన స్క్రీన్‌ ప్రంజెంటేషన్‌కు ప్రేక్షకులు ఫిదా అవుతారు. యాక్షన్‌ సీన్స్‌తో పాటు సెంటిమెంట్‌ సీన్స్‌ పండించడంలో షారుక్‌ ఎక్కడా తగ్గలేదు. జవాన్‌తో నయనతార బాలీవుడ్‌లో ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చింది. ఇందులో ఆజాద్‌కు భార్యగా, మరో బిడ్డకు తల్లిగా, ఒక పోలీస్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌గా సూపర్బ్‌ అనిపించేలా తనదైన మార్క్‌ నటనతో మెప్పించింది. కానీ షారుక్‌ ఖాన్‌తో ఆమె జోడీ అంతగా హైలెట్‌ కాలేదు. విక్రమ్‌ రాథోడ్‌కు భార్యగా దీపికా పదుకోన్‌ కొంత సమయం పాటు కనిపించినా సినిమాకు ప్లస్‌ అయ్యేలా మెప్పిస్తుంది.  

ఇక సెకండాఫ్‌లో కాళీ గైక్వాడ్‌గా విజయ్‌ సేతుపతి హవా ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. జవాన్‌ అతనికి బాలీవుడ్‌లో రెండో సినిమా... ఈ సినిమాతో ఆయనకు అక్కడ మార్కెట్‌ పెరగడం ఖాయం. సినిమాలో విలన్‌ రోల్‌తో పాటు అక్కడక్కడ మంచి కామెడీ పంచ్‌లు కూడా ఆయన నుంచి ఉంటాయి. అవి ప్రేక్షకులను ఎంతగానో మెప్పిస్తాయి. చివర్లో సంజయ్‌ దత్‌ కామియో రోల్‌లో కనిపించి మెప్పిస్తాడు. 

ఇక సాంకేతిక విషయాలకొస్తే ఈ సినిమాకు ప్రధాన బలం డైరెక్టర్‌ అట్లీ స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే అని చెప్పవచ్చు కథ పాతదే అయినా తను రాసుకున్న కథ తీరు ఆడియన్స్‌ను ఎక్కడా బోర్‌ కొట్టిన ఫీల్‌ ఉండదు. విజువల్స్‌తో పాటు భారీ యాక్షన్ సీన్స్‌ హై రేంజ్‌లో ఉంటాయి. ఇందులో అనిరుధ్‌ అందించిన మ్యూజిక్‌ అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోలేదని చెప్పవచ్చు. యాక్షన్‌ సీన్స్‌ వరకు బాగున్నా ... హీరో ఎలివేషన్‌తో పాటు పలు సీన్స్‌లలో ఆయన నుంచి ఆశించినంత స్థాయిలో మ్యూజిక్‌ ఉండదు.  ప్రతి సన్నివేశం రిచ్‌గా ఉండేలా కెమెరామెన్‌ పనితనం కనిపిస్తుంది. ఎడిటర్‌ పనితీరు కొంతమేరకు పర్వాలేదు. నిర్మాణ విలువలు సినిమా అంచనాలకు ఏ మాత్రం తగ్గకుండా ఉన్నాయి.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan  resumes his much-anticipated comeback with “Jawan” (Hindi for “Soldier”), a high-toned action-adventure about a well-meaning terrorist and his crack team of hostage-taking girls with guns. 

Khan’s revival began a year ago with a prominent cameo in the otherwise meh mythofantastic superhero pic “ Brahmastra  Part One: Shiva .” Then in, January, he stormed the box office with the lead role in “ Pathaan ,” a manic spy thriller and the most recent installment in the Yash Raj cinematic universe. “Jawan” will probably delight Khan’s established fans, and maybe uninitiated viewers, too, if only because he’s comfortably playing the hits, now with somewhat greater conviction and a little more polish.

“Jawan” was produced by the star and his wife Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment production company, so it’s not surprising to see how well-worn and carefully navigated the movie’s contrived plot and conventional mood swings tend to be. This is a Shah Rukh Khan vehicle, and by now, that conjures certain formulaic expectations. Still, the makers of “Jawan” spend a little too much trying to convince viewers that we don’t  really  know Khan’s mysterious antihero, who, after an overproduced but still rousing flashback action sequence, takes a train-ful of commuters hostage. 

Khan’s character, soon revealed to be Azad, the warden of a women’s prison, seemingly executes a woman in a burqa, all while wearing a goofy bald cap, which he soon rips off. Khan, in character, rasps out his expectations-flouting demands to the generically incensed negotiator Narmada (Nayanthara): get the Agriculture Minister to pay off starving farmers’ extortionate loans, or more people will die.

“Jawan” careens from one twist to the next, fast enough that it almost doesn’t matter how familiar and ultimately staid its story and set pieces often are. A few plot twists are also easy enough to anticipate. Azad romances Narmada and charms her impressionable ten-year-old daughter Suji (Seeza Saroj Mehta). He denounces various government officials and combats their corruption with a handful of bloody, media-amplified demonstrations. Azad speaks for the common people but behaves erratically, performing a little soft-shuffle dance surrounded by terrified commuters. He proudly and laboriously explains that he’s actually a good guy fighting the real enemy: public servants who do not serve the republic.

There’s an involved and agreeably goofy subplot that ties Narmada and Azad’s story with the movie’s opening scene, set 30 years prior in an unnamed village that may or may not be Tibet (somewhere near “India’s border,” terrorized by Asian soldiers in white star-studded green caps). If you’ve seen Shah Rukh Khan movies before, you won’t be especially surprised at how these two subplots tie together, though you may be delighted anyway. It’s a major plot twist that predictably takes over the back half of the plot and re-orients Azad’s plot so that viewers know that this time, unlike all the other times, it’s personal. 

This time, there’s a nefarious weapons dealer, Kalee (Vijay Sethupathi), who is as malicious as he is violent. There’s also a surprise cameo from a big Bollywood star, whose presence isn’t really a spoiler if you pay attention during the opening credits. And be on the lookout for a duet dance number led by Khan and Deepika Padukone, who have great chemistry, possibly because they know that, by now, they don’t have to really compete for viewers’ affection. Oh, and a couple of the fight scenes are maximalist show-stoppers despite being over-edited and under-directed. Loud and rote, sure, but never boring.

The main reason “Jawan” doesn’t deliver more than what Khan has previously delivered is because its creators seemingly included every masala-style subplot they could think of. Still, “Jawan” is unlike Khan’s last two comeback trail stops because its creators are better at navigating its many hairpin twists and turns. Kudos to director Atlee, a former assistant director whose credits include the Rajinikanth vehicle “Enthiran” and its sequel “ 2.0 ,” and his creative team.

Most importantly, in “Jawan,” Khan looks more relaxed than in years past, toggling leisurely through his repertoire of tics and poses. He looks especially comfortable in undemanding musical numbers, and he still gives great Blue Steel looks every time he turns on a slow-mo heel to pout at viewers’ and/or co-stars. Shah Rukh Khan is still a star, baby, and “Jawan” uses him about as well as his fans might hope.

Khan even looks good delivering a corny but impassioned speech later in the movie. As Azad, Khan reminds us that he’s just like you and me, the apathetic public who, despite our best intentions, have not always exercised good judgment when voting for government officials. There’s a general election in India next year, and while the makers of “Jawan” could have otherwise taken bigger risks, their efforts are appreciated.

Jawan review: Shah Rukh Khan packs a punch in this massy, meaningful actioner

A Shah Rukh Khan film releasing is nothing short of a festival, and I say this with utmost surety because it's not everyday that you see a theatre housefull for a 6am show. After starting the year with a bang with a blockbuster Pathaan, SRK's Jawan goes one level up - both on being overtly dramatic and loaded with high-octane action. Writer-director Atlee presents Khan in an all-new avatar - rough, tough, gritty yet not without his impeccable wit. (Also read: Jawan review and release live updates )

Jawan is an SRK show from start to end, and it's double the treat watching him in a dual role. From his heroic entry scene to the fights to dance numbers, there's nothing that he can't do and makes you believe in it as well. At 57, turning 58 in November, SRK bowls you over with his action. Given the amount of action he has done in Jawan, it appears that Pathaan was a mere teaser. Atlee makes sure he doesn't disappoint audiences in his Hindi directorial debut, as he blends all the elements of commercial cinema to build a massy entertainer.

Jawan doesn't conform to any set templates or tropes and mixes everything that makes for an engaging and entertaining watch. Mention commercial, masala potboiler with action, drama, song and romance and Jawan has it all in abundance. I won't even say don't apply brains, please do because it highlights some important topics. The nearly 3-hour long film tells a compelling tale of prevalent corruption at various levels in the system that affects the common man in the most brutal ways. Thankfully, at no point it gets preachy, though it goes into a social commentary zone for a while, especially with a monologue from SRK towards the end.

Jawan's non-linear narrative starts in the present day and moves 30 years ahead and then uses flashback to explain the why and how. I won't share highlights of the plot for they may get spoilery. But, one can safely say that Jawan is not entirely a revenge drama but every sequence is a short story in itself with an elaborate flashback reasoning the current actions. Somehow, that also seems to be a problematic thing for I missed the consistency in storytelling. Jawan doesn't let you stay on one story for too long and hops on to the next too soon, thus breaking the flow.

What's consistent in Jawan is the top-notch and intricately choreographed action that offers an absolute cinematic experience. All the hype about Bollywood meets South makes sense when you see so much south ka tadka, especially in slo-mo shots, gravity-defying action with men flying and hero with his demigod status. A full-on actioner, it takes on the burning topic of farmer suicides over non repayment of smallest of bank loans. Given what the country went through in the past year witnessing mass farmer protests, the subject instantly strikes a chord, and makes you think hard. There this one moment showing a farmer hanging himself from a tree, and that spine-chilling scene leaves you heartbroken.

Another time, Jawan touches upon the corruption in healthcare system and the sad conditions of government hospitals. The film switches tone from being an actioner to a lighter tale in no time. There are two parallel stories running simultaneously. In one, Narmada (Nayanthara), head of Force Once is looking for Vikram Rathore (SRK) who put the lives of 376 passengers at risk while pulling off a perfect hijack. The second story shows Narmada and Azad Rathore (also SRK) falling for each other. Meanwhile, the baddie, Kalee (Vijay Sethupathi) an arms dealer, has a history with Vikram Rathore and Azad gradually becomes a part of their story.

SRK's army of girls is the backbone of Jawan and it's heartening to see that each of them get enough screen time to shine and form an integral part of the film's story and screenplay. Doctor Eram (Sanya Malhotra) was wrongly framed in the killing of 57 innocent kids and ends up in prison while Kalki (Lehar Khan) as a farmer's daughter wants to avenge her father's death. Helena (Sanjeeta Bhattacharya) the ethical hacker and Lakshmi (Priyamani) as the girl-next-door have interesting character arcs. Along with their chief, all these girls showcase determination, conviction and grit.

For each stunt he plans, SRK dons a new look and much to the delight of his fans, he aces them all. Especially that metro hijack sequence where Khan sported a bald look that created enough buzz after the teaser dropped, shows him like never before. As a young Azad, he wooed with his lover-boy image and as Vikram with grey hair and a cigarette in his mouth, he carries unmatched swag.

Matching SRK's stardom, Vijay Sethupathi brings his own charm and gravitas. His portions are powerful and menacing. In his young as well as aged avatar, Sethupathi doesn't let go of the fear he evokes with his presence. His confrontation scene with Vikram ahead of the climax is brilliantly written and shot with a tinge of humour. Nayanthara brings freshness and is greeted with a slo-mo shot each time she comes on screen. Sadly though, her chemistry with Khan fails to ignite any sparks and it's quite bland. Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, as Vikram Rathore's wife Aishwarya, in a special appearance, is a treat to watch. There's even a dance number featuring the two, giving full-on Chennai Express nostalgia. Sunil Grover as officer Irani is a revelation and you wish there was more of him on screen and more for him to do.

Jawan's screenplay by Atlee and S. Ramanagirivasan is engaging and gripping but Sumit Arora's dialogues are quite forgettable and average considering the scale the movie is mounted on. Other than the one line when SRK says, 'Bete ko haath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar' nothing really stays with you for long.

Nevertheless, Jawan is a wholesome watch that won't give you any dull moment. Keep your eyes and mind focused on screen for there's a lot to take in and you don't want to miss the action or know why it's happening in the first place. Watch out for a climax that's one paisa vasool moment.

Jawan Twitter Review: The highly anticipated Bollywood blockbuster Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead has finally hit the silver screen, and early Twitter reviews suggest that the film is nothing short of a sensational masterpiece.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan has taken the internet by storm with its thrilling storyline and stellar performances.

The excitement surrounding the film had been building for months, fueled by its impressive star cast, trending music, gripping prevue and trailer. Jawan marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan after the blockbuster hit film, Pathaan and the film stood true to the buzz and hype.

JAWAN OPENING DAY ESTIMATED COLLECTION

Going by fervour and buzz for SRK, trade analyst Girish Joahr declared a robust opening for Jawan. During an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat he mentioned, "Advanced bookings are very good overseas. I'm expecting around 4-5 cr on day one in international markets, while in Hindi, approximately 60-75 crore net at the domestic box office. So, day 1 is expected to close around 100 cr."

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the review and hailed Shah Rukh Khan starrer giving out 4.5 rating. He wrote, A hardcore masala entertainer that's sure to stand tall in #SRK's filmography... #Atlee presents #SRK in a massy character and he is 🔥🔥🔥... #Jawan is loaded with aces... Razor-sharp screenplay, attention-grabbing episodes, splendid action pieces, larger-than-life frames, peppy soundtrack, also the pace and energy never dips... However, it's the clash of the gladiators - #SRK and #VijaySethupathi - that's the driving force of #Jawan.

#Jawan is is bolstered by towering performances from the proficient cast... Right from #VijaySethupathi to #Nayanthara, #DeepikaPadukone and #SanjayDutt, each actor shines in this well-constructed script.

Jawan which is set to release globally Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages marks the Bollywood debut of Nayanthara.

The film sees SRK in a dual role. In addition to Shah Rukh and Nayanthara, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Deepika Padukone and more.

Ravi starts off well but soon meanders into songs and romance and similar fluff. That kind of leaves him little time for the climax which seems a little rushed. Jawan Review: SRK Shows Who's Baap !

Jawan  springs a real surprise when it boldly and directly points fingers at the ineffective government and appeals to recognise the power of the finger and vote. Just months before the next general Indian election, this is no coincidence, observes Sukanya Verma.

Shah Rukh Khan responding to criticism through his movies is a triumphant act.

When they said he's playing the same version of Raj and Rahul over and over again, he parodied his romantic monotony and signature pose to hilarious results in Om Shanti Om .

When they bullied him and called for his boycott and played dirty, divisive politics, he fought hate with Pathaan 's patriotism of love that had India swarming to theatres in thundering unison.

When his kid was caught in the crossfire intended to shut him down, pats comes a rejoinder in Jawan 's crackling line (dialogues by Sumit Arora), ' Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar' .

Like Pathaan , his brand new action masala is a product of hype and hoopla that relies on SRK's stardom on screen and fandom off it to show what makes him King Khan.

As expected from an event movie of this stature, Jawan  plays on the 'mass' sentiment, bells, whistles et al intended for people flocking the screens and having a good time.

Things aren't all popcorn.

Bollywood's ongoing blockbuster trend is telling of our desperate desire for a leader, a rescuer, a problem solver, which only epic extravaganzas high on fantasy fulfillment and escapist zing can provide.

Written and directed by Tamil film industry's whiz kid Atlee, Jawan 's world is akin to comic book reality that rewards lawbreakers and disruptors with extraordinary support and sympathy from the authorities.

His villains versus vigilantes clash ticks off the Mersal and Bigil filmmaker's penchant for an anarchist brand of justice-seeking, frequent flashbacks, leading men in multiple avatars and grand entry scenes tailor-made for applause.

Only this time, instead of his go-to hero Vijay, it's Shah Rukh Khan playing a character, um characters, that evoke everything from a bandaged shinobi like Dosu Kinuto in the Naruto universe, a Western cowboy in a vintage cravat and Burt Reynolds moustache, a partially masked hero like Vikram's Anniyan , Hrithik Roshan's deceiving disguises in Dhoom 2 to backstories that carry echoes of Bane, Batman and Joker and Atlee's own vision of a women-centric Wakanda.

Its influences may be from all over but Jawan 's heart is shuddh desi and gets its thrills from old-fashioned emotions and retaliation justified by an eye for an eye logic -- think Aakhri Raasta .

And so between unstoppable action pieces at India's unspecified (ostensibly north-eastern) border, Mumbai's metro and a conveniently accessed multipurpose women's jail, witness thousands of tears streaming from every character's lone, left eye while we gain a better understanding of why half a dozen women (Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, Aliyah Qureshi) are collaborating with a scruffily bandaged SRK in a hostage-like situation while giving roly-poly politicians sleepless nights and a hotshot cop (Nayanthara) much to fret about.

Throw in a bunch of retired army men and a precocious little girl to the mix along with Anirudh Ravichander's soundtrack and 169 minutes of Jawan wrangles to put all its ideas and ambition in place.

The songs, some catchy, some not so much, act as a speed breaker in a momentum that's delightfully accelerated by its rocking thematic title track alone.

SRK does most of the heavy lifting backed by his aurat -empowered army, it's an earnest touch if not pathbreaking. Though it is strange watching a brilliant actor like Sanya Malhotra reduced to a sidekick but kudos to Nayanthara for believably pretending she cannot identify THE voice, THE dimples and THE eyes the world would instantly recognise from miles away.

Once again, SRK finds a worthy companion in Deepika Padukone's brief but poignant presence. Her few dazzling minutes left me far more stirred, shaken and sobbing than all of Jawan 's guilt-tripping approach to society's rampant corruption.

Atlee's depiction of farmer suicides and shortage of oxygen cylinders triggering a state of death and despair is excessive to the point of deceit. Luckily for Jawan , its hero is not a witless peacock.

Shah Rukh Khan's sense of humour and savoir faire (bald, bandaged avatar, for the win) make it easy to look at the bigger picture even when he channels his inner Rajinikant and fights an equal nemesis in Vijay Sethupati's deadly, deadpan, die-hard ogre.

Sethupati's cacophony-free, chilling menace is mildly absurd, wholly wicked in its impact. He's like Amjad Khan, reborn with an accent.

Speaking of khalnayaks, Jawan has a jovial cameo if not jadoo ki jhappi in its trove of twists and tricks.

Where Pathaan was a celebration of his legacy, a moment of overwhelming reassurance from and for SRK, Jawan , where he's accompanied by a battery of women, reiterates he's got the audience wrapped around his finger in a high-octane political drama that compensates for its lack of sharps and slyness with oodles of swagger, style and soft barbs at the system.

Beyond its comic-book entertainment chronicling the age-old war between good and evil, Jawan springs a real surprise when it boldly and directly points fingers at the ineffective government and appeals to recognise the power of the finger and vote.

Just months before the next general Indian election, this is no coincidence.

At an event, legendary Malayalam actor Mohanlal was seen dancing to Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s Zinda Banda song from Jawan. The video took the internet by storm, and netizens were in awe of Lalettan’s dance moves. King Khan reacted to the video and wrote that he wished he had done the song half as good as Mohanlal.

SRK also said that he is waiting to have dinner with the Malayalam star hero. Mohanlal’s reply is heartwarming, and it is not to be missed. Mohanlal said, “Dear SRK, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words. Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too?”

SRK then replied, “Done, sir. Your place or mine?” Fans are over the moon after witnessing the adorable bonding between two of the country’s biggest stars. On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in the film King, which marks the silver screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. Mohanlal, on the other hand, is busy with Lucifer2, Kanappa, and Baroz.
