Gaalodu, directed by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla and featuring Sudigali Sudheer and Gehna Sippy, sticks to its genre and comes across as an action-packed mass entertainer with a weak plot. Sudheer established himself as a frontman. The movie is for you if you give your rational mind a break and watch it without expectations.

Gaalodu Movie : What's Behind

Sudheer Anand aka Sudigali Sudheer earned fame with Jabardasth and shows on small screens. He is quite popular nad familiar among TV audiences. He tried his luck on big screen with a couple of films, Software Sudheer and Wanted Pandugod. This time he has chosen a mass subject for his third film Titled 'Gaalodu'. The film is Directed by Rajasekhar Reddy Pilichara who earlier worked with Sudheer for Software Sudheer film. Gaalodu released in theatres on November 18. Let's see how far this Gaalodu impresses us.

Gaalodu Movie : Story Review

Rajinikanth (Sudigali Sudheer) is in a central jail convicted for murder. Cut to the flashback... He is a good for nothing guy roaming in his village. While gambling, he beats the local leader's son. When Raja came to know that he was dead because of his beating, he escapes from police and reaches Hyderabad. He meets Shukla (Gehana Sippy) and saves her in an incident. She appoints him as a driver in her house. Both fall for each other and everything is going well with duets, Police arrest Rajinikanth on murder charges. To know about what happens next must be watched on the big screen only.

Gaalodu Movie : Artists, Technicians Review 

Rajasekhar Reddy Pulicharla came up with an age old story treated with much older narration. The entire film seems amateurish and offers nothing to sit through it. The first half begins in a prison with unwanted buildup scenes for Sudheer. The same continues when the story shifts to the flashback. The characterisation of hero which was supposed to be a tapori is poorly written not even on the standards of a low budgeted YouTube shortfilm. Hero teasing heroine, comedy scenes, songs placement... everything makes it a perfect bad film. 

The interval bang (?) left the audience banging their heads in the beginning of second half for such insipid writing.  The second half is about Raja trying to push away Shloka as he is wanted by the police. But, Shloka sincerely loves Raja and he too accepts her love. All these were portrayed in the most possible silly scenes. After knowing that her daughter is in love with a driver, Heroines'a father tries to lure him into a conspiracy so that he will be showed as a cheater before his daughter. Finally police arrest Raja and submits him in court. Finally all ends well with another 'everything fall in place' court scene we have already seen a million times. The film further prolonged with a pathos song, may be the director wanted the audience to join as chorus as their situation is far worse by then. 

Sudigali Sudheer is a mismatch for the Gaalodu role. However, Sudheer impresses with energetic dances in songa. But, his hair style and body language doesn't suit him. He needs to improve a lot when it comes to expressions and timing. Heroine Gehana Sippy is okay and emoted well. Sapthagiri and Shakalaka Shankar tried hard to evoke laughs but failed due to lackluster writing. The music from Bheems is forgettable. Dialogues are pathetic while trying to rhyme every word, for ex : 

Appu sampadana kaadu

Vaapu balam kaadu

Rape magatanam kaadu... This is only a sample.

Gaalodu Movie : Analysis Review

Altogether, Gaalodu is neither entertaining not passable. It isn't even bearable for its outdated writing and narrative style. Director Rajasekhar Reddy tried to make a full-on mass film with Sudigali Sudheer. But, he failed to have a proper script with an interesting story with impactful scenes. Due to lack of these, Gaalodu became Gandaragolodu and failed in each and every department resulting a forgettable film for both Hero and Director. Bearing all these aspects, CineJosh is going with a 1 rating for Gaalodu.

Sudigali Sudheer and Gehna Sippy starrer Gaalodu directed by Rajasekar Reddy has hit the silver screens today. Let’s see how it fares.

Story: Raju( Sudigali Sudheer) an easy-go-lucky guy from a village lands in trouble after the death of the village sarpanch’s son’s death. To stay away from the police cases, Raju comes to the city. Soon after landing, Raju crosses paths with a rich girl Sloka( Gehna Sippy). Later, Sloka gives a job to Raju as her car driver. All of sudden, the police find Raju’s identity and arrests him. What happens next? How will Raju come out of prison? How helps him to release from jail, forms the main crux.

Performances: Sudigali Sudheer aka small screen Powerstar gave his best for the film. Be it dances, fights, or comedy, Sudheer impresses big-time with his abilities. Acting-wise, Sudheer gave a decent performance but has to improve a bit in performing emotional scenes.

Heroine Gehna Sippy is cute on screen. Compared to her first film, Chor Bazar, Gehna gave a better performance in Gaalodu. Her chemistry with Sudheer is showcased nicely. Sapthagiri shines in the limited comic role. Other artists such as Ravi Reddy, Prudhvi, Aadya and Satya Krishna did their part decently.

Senior filmmaker Bharadwaja Thammareddy is okay in a key cameo.

Technicalities: The music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo is good. While his mass beats are impressive, the background score is okay for all key scenes.

The editing work is good as the film’s runtime is limited to only a little more than two hours. The cinematography by senior technician Ram Prasad is an added advantage for the film.

Production values for this limited-budget movie are okay.

Analysis: Looks like director Rajasekhar Reddy focused on what elements the audience expect from Sudheer. It is the reason, right from Sudheer’s introduction to built-up shots, the director took good care.

Story-wise, the film has a wafer-thin point but the director tried to present the proceedings by solely focusing on Sudheer’s screen presence. To summarize, Gaalodu is completely a tailor-made film for Sudigali Sudheer. Though the story is dull, Sudheer’s dance movements, action stunts, and songs make the film a decent watch.

Verdict: Sudheer’s one-man show!

Someone said at the pre-release event that he is a power star of the big screen. Is there anyone who has really got that range craze on the screen… Everyone mentions  Sudheer’s name the most. That is why he is getting opportunities in movies too. On one side, he is playing small roles and on the other side, he is also acting as a hero. His first film ‘Software Sudheer’ was not a big hit…it had a good opening at the box office.

Now Sudheer is coming to the audience to test his luck as a hero with another film called ‘Gaalodu’. Now let’s find out if this movie does not impress the audience or not.

Story:  Raju ( Sudigali Sudhir ) is a boy who roams the village as a Baladur. There is no obedience to mom and dad. Fights, poker… These are his pastimes. One day, he had a fight with the village sarpanch’s son in poker. In that fight, the sarpanch’s son died. As the case fell on the king, he ran away from the village and came to the city. There Raju meets Shukla (Gehana Sippy).

After that she hires herself as a driver in her house. Shukla falls in love despite knowing all the negative angles in him. But one day the police come looking for the king and arrest him? Later he will be jailed. And how did Raju get out of jail? Who helped him? Will he meet Shukla in the end or not? That is the rest of the story.

Actors Performance:  Sudhir’s performance is absolutely impressive. Dances, fights, comedy… he gave his best in everything. It can be said that this movie has taken Sudhir to a higher level as a hero, but he needs to mature a little more in the emotional scenes. Gehana Sippy made her debut as a heroine with the movie ‘Chor Bazar’.

She was impressed with her looks in this movie too. It can be said that she performed better in this movie than the first movie. Among the rest of the actors, Saptagiri gets more marks. He impresses here and there with his trademark comedy. Shakalaka Shankar’s comedy is a little hard to bear.

Actors like Ravi Reddy, Prithvi Raj, Adhya, Sathyakrishnan seem to be okay with their roles. But the length of those characters is short. Along with them, former director and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja appeared as a judge in this film and stood as a special attraction.

Technical Expert Performance :  Director Rajasekhar Reddy did not focus much on Pulicharla’s story and audience from Sudheer.. especially he seems to focus only on what the fans on the big screen expect. He gave a good intro scene to Sudhir. Even the first half seems to be completed quickly. But the second half feels slow.

Especially in the climax, when Sudhir stabs him with a knife many times, when the movie ends, the villain enters again and tells the hero that he has become a good man.. It feels like a lag. And the songs created in the music of Bhims Cicerolio are a way to draw the attention of the audience no matter what mood they are in. Songs like ‘Nee Khanne Diwali’ and ‘Pettara DJ’ are uploaded immediately.

The picturization of these in the movie is also good. The rest of the songs are also okay. But the background score is not at the level of the songs. Cinematography by C Ram Prasad is good. The visuals in the song ‘Nee Khanne Diwali’ are impressive. The production values are okay. Running time of 2 hours and 5 minutes is also a plus point.

Analysis :  Story week in this ‘Gaalodu’. It gives the feeling that the film is completely based on Sudhir’s image. His fans as well as the mass audience are likely to like this movie. Audiences who want to watch a movie every weekend can try it, but not necessarily a must watch movie.

Gaalodu Review: ‘జబర్దస్త్’ కమెడియన్స్ కొందరు గత కొంతకాలంగా సినిమాల్లో కీలక పాత్రలు పోషిస్తున్నారు. అవకాశం లభించాలే కానీ అడపా దడపా హీరోలుగానూ నటిస్తున్నారు. అలా సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ ఇప్పటికే రెండు మూడు సినిమాల్లో హీరోగా నటించి, తన అదృష్టం పరీక్షించుకున్నాడు. ఇప్పుడు మరోసారి ‘గాలోడు’తో అదే పనిచేశాడు. మరి ఈ గాలి సోకిన ప్రేక్షకుల పరిస్థితి ఏమిటో తెలుసుకుందాం!!

రాజు (సుడిగాలి సుధీర్) పల్లెటూరి కుర్రాడు. ఊరిలో అల్లరి చిల్లరగా తిరుగుతుంటాడు. ఓ రోజు పేకాటలో సర్పంచ్ కొడుకుపై చేయి చేసుకోవడంతో అతను చనిపోతాడు. దాంతో ఊరు వదిలి పెట్టి రాజు హైదరాబాద్ పారిపోతాడు. అక్కడ కాలేజీ స్టూడెంట్ శుక్లా (గెహనా సిప్పి)తో పరిచయం అవుతుంది. ఆకతాయిల నుండి తనను కాపాడిన రాజును తన తండ్రికి పరిచయం చేసి, డ్రైవర్ గా ఉద్యోగంలో పెట్టిస్తుంది శుక్లా. అలా మొదలైన వారి పరిచయం ప్రేమకు దారితీస్తుంది. ఇదే సమయంలో పల్లెటూరిలో హత్య చేసి సిటీకి వచ్చిన రాజును వెతుక్కుంటూ పోలీసులు వస్తారు. హత్య కేసులో శిక్ష పడిన రాజు.. జైలు నుండి ఎలా బయటపడ్డాడు? తన నిర్దోషిత్వాన్ని ఎలా నిరూపించుకున్నాడు? ఈ విషయంలో లాయర్ విజయ భాస్కర్ (సప్తగిరి) అతనికి ఎలాంటి సాయం చేశాడు? అన్నదే మిగతా కథ.

పరమ సాదాసీదా కథను ఎంపిక చేసుకుని దర్శకనిర్మాత రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి పులిచర్ల ఈ సినిమాను తీశారు. హీరో జైలుకు వెళ్ళటంతో మొదలైన ఈ సినిమా అక్కడ నుండి ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ లో సాగుతుంది. అతను జైలు నుండి బయటకు వచ్చి, హీరోయిన్ ను పెళ్ళి చేసుకోవడంతో ముగుస్తుంది. సినిమా స్టార్టింగ్ నుండి ఎండింగ్ వరకూ ఒక్కటంటే ఒక్కటి కూడా కొత్త సన్నివేశం కనిపించదు. మేటర్ తక్కువ, బిల్డప్ ఎక్కువ అన్నట్టుగా సినిమా సాగుతుంది. గతంలో సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ తో దర్శకుడు రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి ‘సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ సుధీర్’ అనే సినిమా తెరకెక్కించాడు. ఆ అనుబంధంతోనే ఈ సినిమాను స్వీయ దర్శకత్వంలో నిర్మించాడు. డబ్బున్న అమ్మాయిని ఆవారాగా తిరిగే కుర్రాడు ప్రేమించడం, ప్రేమ గుడ్డిదనే మాటను నిరూపిస్తూ, ఆమె ఇతనితో ప్రేమలో పడిపోవడం, వారి ప్రేమను చూసి తట్టుకోలేక హీరోయిన్ తండ్రి విలన్ గా మారడం, వారిని విడగొట్టాలని రకరకాలుగా ప్రయత్నించడం, చివరకు హీరో తన మంచితనంతో అందరి మనసులను గెలుచుకోవడం… ఇలా సింపుల్ పాయింట్ తో మూవీని తీసేశారు. కథలో కొత్తదనం ఇసుమంతైనా లేదు… కనీసం కథనమైన ఆకట్టుకుంటుందా అంటే అదీ లేదు! రొటీన్ రొట్టకొట్టుడు టేకింగ్! ఈ తరం ఆడియెన్స్ ను ఇలాంటి పాచిపోయిన కథతో ఎలా మెప్పించవచ్చని దర్శక నిర్మాత భావించారో అర్థం కాదు! ఇందులో కొన్ని సీన్స్ డబుల్ మీనింగ్ డైలాగ్స్ తో జబర్దస్త్ కామెడీ సీన్స్ ను గుర్తుకు తెస్తాయి.

నటీనటుల విషయానికి వస్తే… కమెడియన్ ఇమేజ్ ఉన్న సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ కు ఇది నప్పే పాత్ర కాదు. హీరోయిజాన్ని ఎలివేట్ చేయాలనే తపన తప్పితే దర్శకుడికి మరో ఆలోచన ఉన్నట్టుగా కనిపించదు. హీరో ఎంట్రీ సీన్ నుండి ప్రతి సన్నివేశాన్నీ బిల్డప్ షాట్స్ తో నింపేశారు. వినోదాన్ని పంచాల్సిన చోట కూడా హీరోయిజాన్నే చూపించారు. కనిపెంచిన తల్లిదండ్రులు, నానమ్మ మీద గౌరవం లేని గాలోడి పాత్రలో సుధీర్ ను ఊహించుకోవడం కష్టమే. సెకండ్ హాఫ్‌ లో ఆ పాత్రలో రియలైజేషన్ ను చూపించినా, అదేమంత ఆకట్టుకునే విధంగా లేదు. ‘చోర్ బజార్’ మూవీతో టాలీవుడ్ ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చిన గెహనా సిప్పి తెర మీద చూడటానికి బాగానే ఉంది. దాంతో పాటలు, వాటి లొకేషన్స్ కాస్తంత చూడదగ్గవిగా అనిపిస్తాయి. ఇతర ప్రధాన పాత్రలను సప్తగిరి, రవిరెడ్డి, ఆధ్య, అజయ్, శరత్, పృధ్వీరాజ్, సత్యకృష్ణన్ తదితరులు పోషించారు. ప్రముఖ దర్శక నిర్మాత తమ్మారెడ్డి భరద్వాజ జడ్జి పాత్రలో కనిపించారు. మొత్తం సినిమాలో షకలక శంకర్ పాత్రే కాస్తంత వినోదాన్ని పంచేది.

తన లైఫ్ లో ఎలాంటి సీరియస్ నెస్ లేకుండా తన ఊళ్ళో గాలోడు(సుడిగాలి సుధీర్) అని పిలిపించుకునే కుర్రాడు తన ఊర్లో సర్పంచ్ కొడుకుని ఓ అనుకోని గొడవలో చంపేస్తాడు. దీనితో భయపడి హైదరాబాద్ పారిపోతాడు. ఇక్కడ ఓ సఘట్టాలో హీరోయిన్ గెహెనా సిప్పి కి ఓ సాయం చేస్తాడు. దీనితో అక్కడ నుంచి వీరి పరిచయం ప్రేమగా మారుతుంది. కానీ ఆమె తండ్రి మాత్రం వీరి ప్రేమకి పడతాడు. మరి వీరి ప్రేమ గెలుస్తుందా? తాను చేసిన మర్డర్ విషయం ఏమవుతుంది అనేది తెలియాలి అంటే ఈ చిత్రాన్ని చూడాల్సిందే.

స్మాల్ స్క్రీన్ పై చూసినవారికి సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ టాలెంట్ ఏ పాటిదో అందరికీ తెలుసు. మరి సినిమాల్లో కూడా తన టాలెంట్ తో సుధీర్ ఫస్ట్ సినిమాలోనే ప్రూవ్ చేసుకున్నాడు. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలో కూడా కొత్త లుక్స్ అండ్ సాలిడ్ ప్రెజెన్స్ తో తాను ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. అలాగే డాన్స్ లు కూడా చాలా బాగా చేసాడు.

యాక్షన్ ఇంకా మాస్ యాటిట్యూడ్ లో తన యూత్ ఫ్యాన్స్ కి నచ్చేలా ఈ సినిమాలో కనిపిస్తాడు. అలాగే నటుడుగా ఈ సినిమాలో తన నుంచి కొత్త కోణం కనిపిస్తుంది. అలాగే గెహనా డీసెంట్ నటనతో తన పాత్ర చేసింది. అలాగే ఆమె లుక్స్ మరియు సుధీర్ తో మంచి కెమిస్ట్రీ కనిపిస్తుంది. అలాగే ఇద్దరి మధ్య సాంగ్స్ కూడా వాటి మ్యూజిక్ సినిమాకి మంచి ప్లస్ అయ్యాయి. అలాగే క్లైమాక్స్ డిజైన్ చేసిన విధానం బాగుంది.

మైనస్ పాయింట్స్ :

ఈ చిత్రంలో విషయంలో సుధీర్ మాత్రం డెఫినెట్ గా రాంగ్ స్టెప్ తీసుకున్నాడని చెప్పొచ్చు. బహుశా తన పాత్ర వరకు ఓకే చేసాడో ఏమో కానీ అసలు ఈ చిత్రంలో కథే లేదు. పరమ రొటీన్ లైన్ తో ఈ సినిమాని మేకర్స్ తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఇది పెద్ద డ్రా బ్యాక్ కాగా అసలు పూర్తి స్థాయిలో ఇదొక సినిమా అన్నట్టు కూడా ఎక్కడా నరేషన్ ఆడియెన్స్ కి కనిపించకపోవడం మరో పెద్ద డిజప్పాయింట్మెంట్ గా అనిపిస్తుంది.

డల్ గా ఏమాత్రం ఆకట్టుకోని ఫస్టాఫ్, అలాగే చాలా వరకు సీన్స్ ని అనవసరంగా స్కోప్ లేకున్నా కూడా ఇరికించినట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది. ఓవర్ ఎలివేషన్ లు సంబంధం లేకుండా వచ్చే సీన్స్ బాగా చికాకు తెప్పిస్తాయి. అలాగే చాలా పాత్రల్లో బలం కూడా లేదు. ముఖ్యంగా హీరోయిన్ తండ్రి పాత్ర లో అసలు డెప్త్ అనేది కనిపించదు.

ఇలా చాలా నిరాశపరిచే అంశాలు సినిమాలు ఉన్నాయి. కథ ఎలాగో పరమ రొటీన్ అయినప్పటికీ స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అయినా ఎంగేజింగ్ గా ఉండి ఉంటే మంచి ఫలితం దక్కేది కానీ చాలా సిల్లీ సీన్స్ మరియు నరేషన్ తో చాలా బోర్ గా ఈ సినిమా సాగుతుంది. అలాగే హీరోయిన్ మరియు హీరో ల మధ్య ట్రాక్ కూడా అంత ఇంప్రెసివ్ గా అనిపించదు. ఇంకా క్లైమాక్స్ కోర్ట్ సీక్వెన్స్ కూడా మెప్పించే రీతిలో ఉండదు.

సాంకేతిక వర్గం :

చిత్రంలో నిర్మాణ విలువలు అయితే బాగున్నాయి అలాగే టెక్నీకల్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ సంగీత దర్శకుడు భీమ్స్ సినిమాకి చాలా మంచి వర్క్ అందించి ఉన్న కాస్త ఇంట్రెస్ట్ అయినా తెప్పించగలిగాడు. అలాగే సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. డైలాగ్స్ పర్వాలేదు. అలాగే ఎడిటింగ్ లో చాలా అనవసర సీన్స్ తీసెయ్యాల్సింది.

ఇక దర్శకుడు రాజశేఖర్ విషయానికి వస్తే తన వర్క్ మాత్రం సినిమాకి ఏం బాగోలేదని చెప్పాలి. సుధీర్ పాత్ర వరకు ఓకే కానీ సినిమాలో సరైన పాయింట్ కూడా తీసుకొని ఉన్నా పోనీ రొటీన్ లైన్ అయినప్పటికీ ఎంగేజింగ్ గా చూపించడంలో కూడా తాను విఫలం అయ్యాడు. లాజిక్స్ లేకుండా సిల్లీ నరేషన్ తో సినిమాలో ఫ్లో దెబ్బ తీసాడు. దీనితో తన వర్క్ మాత్రం చాలా బిలో యావరేజ్ గానే అనిపిస్తుంది.

ఇక మొత్తంగా చూసినట్టు అయితే ఈ “గాలోడు” లో ఒక్క సుధీర్ సిన్సియర్ పెర్ఫామెన్స్ తప్పా ఏ అంశం కూడా పెద్దగా ఆకట్టుకోదు. కేవలం సుధీర్ మరియు సాంగ్స్ కోసం అయితే థియేటర్ వరకు వెళ్లి చూడదగే రేంజ్ సినిమా కూడా ఇది కాదు. దర్శకుని పూర్తి వైఫల్యం సినిమా ఫలితాన్ని దెబ్బ తీసింది. దీనితో అయితే ఈ వారాంతానికి ఈ సినిమాకి స్కిప్ చేసేయొచ్చు.

Gaalodu Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Gaalodu Movie Review : Sudigaali Sudheer became a superstar in Television Industry and to prove himself he made a few films as a hero. few have fared well and few weren’t but without losing hope he come up with another commercial flick called Gaalodu, well the team promoted it quite well, and finally, the day has come to decide his luck, well the film has released today November 18, 2022, and let’s jump into the review and find out whether the film is worth watching.

Raju(Sudheer) hails from a village, where he wanders as gaalodu, on a mission he lands in Hyderabad where he fell in love with Sukla(Gehna Sippy) when everything goes smoothly, twist arises in the tale when goons know who is Raju, Finally, who is Raju is what you can see in the film.

Sudheer Anand, Gehna Sippy, Sapthagiri, and Shakalaka Shankar in lead roles, and the film is directed by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla, while the cinematography has done by C. Ram Prasad, Music has composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and the film Produced by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla Under the banner of Samskruthi films.

Movie Verdict

The days are gone for commercial films, now audiences want an engaging and different story but few makers still force the audience to watch their commercial films and talk about Gaalodu as a pakka outdated commercial flick that has no interesting and exciting factor to watch the film, the film starts off with routine protagonists introduction then mass beat which describes the hero’s character in and out, so these are the Gaalodu traits.

The first half has some Sudheer mark comedy blocks and a few other comedians also tried hard to make us laugh sadly it doesn’t work out, and it’s very hard to watch the later half with routine scenes, draggy screenplay and lackluster performances, except heroine glamour and few comedy scenes, Gaalodu failed in engaging the audience.

Sudheer as Raju is just okay as we have seen him doing comedy but suddenly when he is doing unbelievable action sequence on screen it’s hard to digest and it doesn’t suit him, if he would like to do more films as a hero better he should choose comedy films and Gehna Sippy has no scope but she impressed with her glamour for while she is breathing f0r the film and Shakalaka Shankar and rest of the casts are just okay.

Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla come up with a routine story and he completely failed in making the movie interestingly, better he should write unique stories.

Technically, Gaalodu is okay, Ramprasad’s cinematography is just like regular commercial films with heavy lighting and over-saturated colors and Bheems Ceciroleo’s songs are not up to the mark and his background score are also regular.

Overall, Gaalodu is an outdated commercial film and if you are a fan of Sudigali Sudheer then also you can give it a try.

Gaalodu Movie Review In Telugu : Sudigaali Sudheer, who is known for being on TV, acted in a number of action movies to get more attention. Even though his earlier movies got bad reviews, including the ones that inspired his most recent hit, Gaalodu, the director kept making movies. The team did a great job of getting the word out, so it’s time to decide if his work was worth it or not. The movie opens in theatres today, November 18, 2022, so let’s write a review of it.

A country boy named Raju (Sudheer) falls in love with Sukla in Hyderabad. Unexpected things happen when the thieves find out who Raju really is. In the movie’s most important scenes, we find out who Raju really is.

Cast & Crew

Filmmaker Raja Sekar Reddy Pulacharla was in charge of this project. The main characters are played by Sapthagiri, Gehna Sippy, Shakalaka Shankar, and Sudheer Anand. C. Ram Prasad, a well-known cinematographer, shot the movie. These tunes were written by Bheems Ceciroleo. It was made by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla, who is the owner of Samskruthi Films.

Movie Verdict

People no longer pay attention to how well a movie does at the box office. Instead, they look for movies with strong, unique stories. Even so, some directors still tell the general public about their commercial movies. Some people say that Gaalodu, a commercial film from the 1990s, is boring and not worth your time. In most movies, the main character is shown right away. In the next few lines, I’ll talk about how the main character has changed and what kind of person he or she is as a whole.

Gaalodu’s second act is slow and boring because the same things keep happening over and over again. The only good thing about the movie was the pretty woman who played the lead role, but even she couldn’t save it. Even though most of the first part of the movie is made up of jokes by Sudheer Mark, other comedians also tried to make us laugh. But that’s not how most things work out.

If he wants to play more heroic roles in movies, he should stop doing comedies. Even though Gehna Sippy is a terrible actress, her role in the movie will be remembered for a long time. Shakalaka Shankar is doing great, just like the rest of the group. Even though Sudheer is good at comedy, he seems out of place in action scenes that don’t make sense and don’t fit Raju.

Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla tried to turn a boring story into a beautiful movie. Instead, he should write his own stories.

Technically, Gaalodu is fine, but the songs and music of Bheems Ceciroloo are terrible. Ramprasad’s pictures are like old Hollywood movies in that they have bright, oversaturated colors and lighting.

Gaalodu is a commercial movie that came out a long time ago, but fans of Sudigali Sudheer should still see it.

Even though his previous movies had a mixed track record, including the flops that gave him ideas for Gaalodu, the director didn’t give up and instead made another big hit. The team did a great job getting the word out, and now it’s time to see if all of his hard work paid off. The movie is out in theatres today, November 18, 2022, so let’s see if it’s any good by writing a review.

Raju (Sudheer), who lives in the country, falls in love with Sukla (Gehna Sippy), who lives in the city, in Hyderabad. When the thugs find out who Raju is, which has been a secret until now, the story takes an unexpected turn. At the end of the movie, it becomes clear who Raju really is.

Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla was in charge of making the movie. Sudheer Anand, Gehna Sippy, Sapthagiri, and Shakalaka Shankar are in the lead roles. It was shot by the well-known cinematographer C. Ram Prasad. Bheems Ceciroleo was the one who wrote the music. Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla, whose company is called Samskruthi films, was in charge of making it.

Movie Verdict

People no longer care about how well a movie does at the box office. Instead, they look for movies with original and interesting stories. But some directors keep trying to force people to watch their commercial movies. People say Gaalodu is a boring 90s commercial movie you shouldn’t waste your time on because of this. The main character is introduced in a standard way at the beginning of the movie. This is followed by a mass beat that sums up the main character’s character arc and overall personality.

The second part of Gaalodu is boring because it has the same scenes over and over again, moves slowly, and has bad acting. The only things that kept people interested in the movie were its beautiful heroine and a few funny parts, but that wasn’t enough. A few other comedians also tried to make us laugh, and there are some Sudheer mark jokes in the first half of the movie. Things don’t work out like that, though.

If he wants to play more heroes in movies, he should stick to comedies. Even though Gehna Sippy doesn’t have much talent, she still managed to impress with her slick performance in the movie. Shakalaka Shankar, along with the rest of the cast, is just fine. We know that Sudheer can do comedy, so seeing him do action scenes that don’t make sense is strange and doesn’t work for his character, Raju.

Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla tried to make a boring story into an exciting movie. Instead, he should write his own stories from scratch.

Technically, Gaalodu is fine, but the songs by Bheems Ceciroloo and the music by Ramprasad aren’t very good. Ramprasad’s photos are like typical Hollywood movies in that they are full of bright lights and colours that are hard to take in.

Gaalodu is an old commercial movie, but Sudigali Sudheer fans should still check it out.

‘Unsung Hero’ Review: Music Dedicated to the One They Love

In fact, there’s a lot of singing in the clan whose members inspired this movie and who have racked up five Grammy Awards for their Christian recordings.

In the faith-based drama “Unsung Hero,” an Australian concert promoter trying to earn a living makes a last-ditch move to Nashville with his wife and six children. Based on an actual family of musicians, it mostly plays as a treacly tribute to the parents of Joel and Luke Smallbone — a.k.a. the Christian pop duo For King & Country — and their sister, the singer Rebecca St. James.

Viewer beware: Between the uplift and the cringe, this movie may cause whiplash. Joel Smallbone plays his own father, David, who faces financial and reputational ruin after booking a big concert and failing to pack the house. He resettles the family in the United States, but no job materializes. His pep-talking spouse, Helen (Daisy Betts), and their beatific children pull up bootstraps and practically whistle while they work, but it’s not enough.

Community, humility and the power of prayer are the lessons on offer in their story, set in the 1990s, bathed in warm light and interspersed with home video segments. Fellow churchgoers pitch in, and David gets over himself; he secures auditions for his teenage daughter, Rebecca (Kirrilee Berger), who keeps breaking into dulcet song about how everything is beautiful. The outcome of “Unsung Hero,” as written and directed by Richard L. Ramsey and Joel Smallbone, is never in doubt, though the climax has a kicker line that genuinely surprises with its laughable shamelessness.

The family business has become a success: Rebecca, Joel and Luke have won five Grammys among them. But despite the fuzzy good intentions, it’s tough to make much of this making-of story.

Unsung Hero Rated PG. Running time: 1 hour 52 minutes. In theaters.

Rebel Moon: Part Two Isn't Faring Well On Rotten Tomatoes

I t's time for another Zack Snyder slow-motion extravaganza! Snyder's big sci-fi sequel "Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver" is now on Netflix, and the reactions ... well, they ain't great, folks. The first film, subtitled " A Child of Fire ," didn't fare much better — it's currently sitting at 21% on Rotten Tomatoes . But what about Part Two? Sadly, it seems to be doing even worse than the original flick. As of this writing, "Rebel Moon – Part Two" has a terrible 15% on Rotten Tomatoes . And if you're thinking, "Well, that's just the critics! What are  regular people saying about the movie?", you should also know that the film's audience score is a less-than-great 52%. In short, people don't seem to like what Snyder is offering here. Snyder has always had a tenuous relationship with critics, but this seems to be one of his worst-reviewed films to date. Even his cartoon owl movie has a better score than "Reble Moon — Part Two."

What Critics Are Saying About Rebel Moon — Part Two

Our own Jeremy Mathai reviewed "Rebel Moon — Part Two," giving it a 4 out of 10. Jeremy wrote: 

"Snyder once again displays his usual knack for crafting the occasional breathtaking visual and colorful splash page — a kiss silhouetted by the Veldt equivalent of magic hour, a spaceship foregrounded by an eclipsing star, and a stunning tableau of lasers crisscrossing in the heat of battle are memorable highlights — but his insistence on serving as his own director of photography continues to hold him back at every turn. By the time war breaks out between the rebels and the Imperium and the body count stacks up, not even Tom Holkenborg's pounding score (complete with his own overused answer to Hans Zimmer's "Wonder Woman" theme) or one legitimately inspired, gravity-defying duel between Noble and Kora can save this venture from Snyder's worst tendencies."

Other critics were just as harsh, if not more so. Rolling Stone's David Fear wrote , "Turn away from your screens. Go for a walk. Start your own wheat-threshing collective. Anything but suffer through this." Matt Patches at Polygon added : "It is ugly, it is repetitive, it is severely lacking in stand-up-and-cheer moments." IGN Movies' Hannah Flint stated : "This finale is the cinematic equivalent of finishing a second-hand jigsaw puzzle only to find several pieces missing." Clarisse Loughrey from the Independent (UK) said : "The film is egregiously long for what it is: simply Seven Samurai dipped in a thin glaze of rebels-vs-empire interstellar intrigue." And Siddhant Adlakha at JoySauce.com claimed : "Between its lengthy title, and its mumbo-jumbo terminology that carries little meaning, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is the kind of sci-fi movie you'd glimpse in a satire about Hollywood." 

You get the picture. But who knows what will happen now? Snyder says he has R-rated Director's Cuts of both films in the works. Maybe critics will like those. Or maybe not.

Review: Zendaya's 'Challengers' serves up saucy melodrama – and some good tennis, too

The saucy tennis melodrama “Challengers” is all about the emotional games we play with each other, though there are certainly enough volleys, balls and close-up sweat globules if you’re more into jockstraps than metaphors.

Italian director Luca Guadagnino ( “Call Me By Your Name” ) puts an art-house topspin on the sports movie, with fierce competition, even fiercer personalities and athletic chutzpah set to the thumping beats of a techno-rific Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross score. “Challengers” (★★★ out of four; rated R; in theaters Friday) centers on the love triangle between doubles partners-turned-rivals (Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor) and a teen wunderkind ( Zendaya ) and how lust, ambition and power dynamics evolve their relationships over the course of 13 years.

The movie opens with Art (Faist) and Tashi (Zendaya) as the It couple of pro tennis: He’s eyeing a U.S. Open title, the only tournament he’s never won, while she’s his intense coach, manager and wife, a former sensation along the lines of a Venus or Serena whose career was cut short by a gnarly knee injury. To build up his flagging confidence after recent losses, Tashi enters Art in a lower-level event that he can dominate – until he faces ex-bestie Patrick (O’Connor) in the final match.

Justin Kuritzkes’ soapy screenplay bounces between that present and the trios’ complicated past via flashbacks, starting when Art and Patrick – a ride-or-die duo known as “Fire and Ice” – both have eyes for Tashi. All three are 18 and the hormones are humming: The boys have been tight since they were preteens at boarding school, but a late-night, three-way makeout session, and the fact that she’ll only give her number to whoever wins the guys' singles match, creates a seismic crack that plays itself out over the coming years.

All three main actors ace their arcs and changing looks over time – that’s key in a nonlinear film like this that’s all over the place. As Tashi, Zendaya plays a woman who exudes an unshakable confidence, though her passion for these two men is seemingly her one weakness. Faist (“West Side Story”) crafts Art as a talented precision player whose love for the game might not be what it once was, while O’Connor (“The Crown”) gives Patrick a charming swagger with and without a racket, even though his life has turned into a bit of a disaster.

From the start, the men's closeness hints at something more than friendship, a quasi-sexual tension that Tashi enjoys playing with: She jokes that she doesn’t want to be a “homewrecker” yet wears a devilish smile when Art and Patrick kiss, knowing the mess she’s making.

Tennis is “a relationship,” Tashi informs them, and Guadagnino uses the sport to create moments of argumentative conversation as well as cathartic release. Propelled by thumping electronica, his tennis scenes mix brutality and grace, with stylish super-duper close-ups and even showing the ball’s point of view in one dizzying sequence. Would he do the same with, say, curling or golf? It’d be cool to see because more often than not, you want to get back to the sweaty spectacle.

Guadagnino could probably make a whole movie about masculine vulnerability in athletics rather than just tease it with “Challengers,” with revealing bits set in locker rooms and saunas. But the movie already struggles with narrative momentum, given the many tangents in Tashi, Art and Patrick’s thorny connections: While not exactly flabby, the film clocks in at 131 minutes and the script could use the same toning up as its sinewy performers.

While “Challengers” falls nebulously somewhere between a coming-of-age flick, dysfunctional relationship drama and snazzy sports extravaganza, Guadagnino nevertheless holds serve with yet another engaging, hot-blooded tale of flawed humans figuring out their feelings.

Movie Review: A lyrical portrait of childhood in Cabrini-Green with ‘We Grown Now’

Two 11-year-old boys navigate school, friendship, family and change in Minhal Baig’s lyrical drama “We Grown Now.” It’s an evocative memory piece, wistful and honest, and a different kind of portrait of a very infamous place: Chicago’s Cabrini-Green public housing development.

And, pointedly, it’s a film that might not have existed without Participant, the activist film and television studio that just this month announced it was shutting down operations .

Baig sets her film in the fall of 1992, a moment in which the promise of the 1940s urban renewal project had curdled beyond repair. It was there, on Oct. 13 of that year, that 7-year-old Dantrell Davis was killed by a sniper while walking to elementary school with his mother. A few days later, the horror film “Candyman” opened across the country with its Black boogeyman and white heroine, inspiring pointed critiques for its regressive racial stereotypes.

No longer the place of “Good Times,” Cabrini-Green had become a metonym for the failures of the system. A few years later, authorities would begin demolishing buildings there, the last of which came down in 2011. It’s now home to luxury apartments.

But childhood is childhood for Malik (Blake Cameron James) and Eric (Gian Knight Ramirez). And the biggest thing on their mind at the beginning is transporting a found mattress down the stairs of the high rise, through the streets and sidewalks to their playground area where it will provide the perfect landing cushion for their favorite activity: Jumping.

Malik lives with his sister, mother Dolores (Jurnee Smollett, in a lovely performance) and grandmother (S. Epatha Merkerson). The adults are stable, calm and positive influences on the lives of the kids, keeping them safe in their little enclave. Still, realities of their small world inside Cabrini-Green do occasionally creep in (or, rather, sometimes burst in at 2 a.m., when authorities decide to raid and trash their apartment looking for drugs that aren’t there). Dolores tries to protest and stick up for their rights but is painfully aware of her powerlessness over the ever-escalating hostilities towards them.

The death of a classmate sends everyone into a spiral. Voices from the outside suddenly emerge, from Chicago’s mayor Richard M. Daley and others vowing to clean up Cabrini-Green. There is a pointed disconnect with what Malik and Eric’s day-to-day is actually like, playing, jumping, teasing little sisters and sometimes escaping the dull nature documentary at their school to have a real adventure. Some of these moments land, especially the banter between the boys, but some are a little clunkier. These are the ones that lean more into whimsical ideas of play and inspiration (like when they decide to visit the Art Institute on their own and have a Ferris Bueller moment with the Seurat painting) than an authentic portrait of childhood. But also, why not show the kids being self-motivated to talk about art?

And it’s one of their last adventures before reality comes back to fracture their bond, when Malik’s mother makes the decision to leave Cabrini-Green for a job opportunity in Peoria. Their goodbyes may just have you reaching for a tissue — a testament to the two young actors.

Baig is a product of Chicago, though not Cabrini-Green. There are perhaps questions about who should tell whose story, but she has come to it with a palpable empathy and interest, which is all you can ask for, really. Why would we want to make rules about filmmakers stepping outside the narrow confines of their personal experience to tell different stories?

That care shines through in every frame (evocatively shot by Pat Scola), for the kids growing up in these circumstances, for the adults trying to shelter them, and for the magic they’re able to find despite everything. It is a delicate look at what life might have felt like beyond the fear-mongering headlines, with an elegant score from Jay Wadley. “We Grown Now” is slightly dreamy and stylized, too, but instead of a liability, it makes this very small story feel grand, poetic and cinematic — just like it would for an 11-year-old.

“We Grown Now,” a Sony Pictures Classics release in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago on Friday and expanding April 26, is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association for “thematic material and language.” Running time 93 minutes. Three stars out of four.

Positive Messages

Argues that stopping the forces of evil is worth risking your life/personal safety. But the movie also celebrates reckless heroism, suggesting that only the most unstable people are capable of doing such a job; no ordinary person could dream of pulling it off. Also, rampant killing has no consequences, and even the title suggests that warfare could be "fun."

Positive Role Models

Given that the characters are loosely based on real people (whose photos are shown during the end credits), there are certainly some role models here. But the fictionalized versions are likely more flawed/problematic than the real-life versions, behaving in ways that feel reckless and facing few consequences for their actions.

Diverse Representations

Most main characters are White men. But the crew does include Henry Golding, who's of Malaysian descent, as Freddy Alvarez. Nigerian-born Babs Olusanmokun and Mexican-born Eiza González also have important roles, though González is virtually the only woman in the cast. Danny Sapani, an actor of Ghanaian descent, plays another key role, Kambili Kalu, whose all-Black militia comes to the aid of the White characters and helps pull off the scheme.

Parents need to know that The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is a lightweight, fast-paced Guy Ritchie -directed action movie that's set during World War II and based (loosely) on an actual secret mission to deprive German U-Boats of supplies. Violence is frequent and almost cartoonish in tone and includes the untimely deaths of many Nazi villains. Expect to see guns and shooting, stabbing and slicing, characters being wounded with arrows, explosions, blood spurts/sprays, implications of torture (a character is shackled by the wrists and hung from the ceiling, and a person has electrodes clamped to his nipples), and more. There's flirting, both calculated and comical, as well as brief sex-related language and a quick glimpse of a man's naked bottom. The word "f--k" is used twice, and characters smoke (cigars and cigarettes) and drink socially/casually throughout the movie. What's the Story?

In THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE, it's 1942, and German U-Boats are making life difficult for Great Britain, sinking desperately needed supply ships. It's learned that a ship loaded with U-Boat fuel and equipment will be docked at Fernando Po, an island off of Cameroon. Under orders from Prime Minister Churchill ( Rory Kinnear ), Brigadier Gubbins ( Cary Elwes ) calls in Gus March-Phillips ( Henry Cavill ) to lead an unofficial team to sabotage the ship. He chooses outcasts Anders ( Alan Ritchson ), Henry ( Hero Fiennes Tiffin ), Freddy ( Henry Golding ), and Geoffrey ( Alex Pettyfer ) to join him. Agent Heron ( Babs Olusanmokun ), who's already stationed on the island -- which is populated by German, Italian, and Spanish officers -- keeps the group occupied and entertained at his bar. Agent Marjorie Stewart ( Eiza González ) is in charge of distracting the head Nazi stationed there, Heinrich Luhr ( Til Schweiger ). Before the heroes set sail, posing as an innocent fishing crew, they must break into a Nazi prison to rescue Geoffrey. Finally, after averting many obstacles, they arrive in Fernando Po, only to learn that their plan of blowing up the ship won't work. So they decide to steal it.

Is It Any Good?

This kind of twisty, lighthearted, impossible-caper movie is the kind of thing that director Guy Ritchie does best; it's not very deep, but it's funny, swiftly paced, and tells a great story. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was inspired by a non-fiction book containing details from Winston Churchill's papers, which were declassified in 2016. But rather than presenting a stodgy retelling, Ministry has fun with it, flinging itself into absurdly gleeful action sequences and superhuman feats of derring-do. (Its story is similar to Operation Mincemeat , and, incidentally, both movies feature the future James Bond author Ian Fleming as a character.)

Much of the movie probably veers pretty far from the reality of what happened, but the characters' scoundrel-like qualities are immensely appealing. (Despite their reputations, they're rarely rude or unpleasant.) And Ritchie keeps up an admirable juggling act with his many characters, while scattering the details of the mission cleverly throughout the story so that there's always a fresh obstacle to overcome. Ultimately, a probably unhealthy percentage of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare consists of explosions and shooting or slicing up Nazis, rather than storytelling or characters, but somehow that's OK.
