200 Words Essay On My Best Teacher

Teachers play a huge role in helping a child shape their personality . A huge chunk of the knowledge and values one holds comes from their teachers.

My Best Teacher

In the entire school, Nilam ma’am is my favourite teacher. She instructs me in EVS when I am in fourth grade (Environmental Studies) class. Our teacher is very caring and teaches in simple ways. She doesn't take studying too seriously and engages us in fun activities while instructing. Because I am a very responsible and ideal student, she loves me very much. I always do my classwork and homework in a tidy manner per her instructions.

In her class, I'm always attentive and reach the class on time. She inspires us to always choose the correct course in life, even when we have to deal with highly challenging circumstances. Our teacher teaches us to always look for simple solutions to our problems rather than giving up when things get tough. She also advises us to constantly think positively since what we believe and do always come to pass. All of the EVS concepts are explained by the teacher exceptionally thoroughly. In her class, she wants us to speak only English. She rides on the school bus with us, and we enjoy singing songs and reciting poetry as we travel to her home.

500 Words Essay On My Best Teacher

A teacher plays a significant role throughout all stages of life. Teachers impart life’s important values to students. Since teachers know that not every student has the same learning capacity, they carefully assess each student's potential before beginning lessons. A teacher is an excellent communicator of wisdom , fortune, and light, from whom we can learn much and benefit significantly throughout our lives.

My science teacher is one of my favourite professors. Her name is Mousumi Banerjee. She is the best teacher at the school and well-liked by all of my friends because she teaches very well.I appreciate her in-class teaching methods. She tell us to study the material she will cover in class the following day at home. The teacher explains the subject to the students and solicits any clarifications. The next day, she asked more questions on the same topic. This helps us understand a particular subject in great detail.

After covering two or three topics, she takes a test. She is passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and it shows in the way they teach us. She treats us with friendliness and never permits fear in us. Without hesitation, any student in the class or her cabin may ask her any question about the topic. While instructing the class, the teacher keeps an eye on every student's activity and disciplines the misbehaving ones. If you truly want success in life, she advises us to focus on our studies and always do as our teacher instructs. She never shows bias in the classroom between any of the students.

Her Importance In My Life

Mousumi ma'am has always been an important person in my life. She helped me select every course of action at various times. She gave me immense knowledge, skills, and positive behaviour expectations so I never felt lost. She always disciplined me and helped me throughout my life, even after school. In class 12th, I did a project under her in which she helped me immensely. It was a very successful project, and we won the 1st prize at the annual technical fest. That year she also got voted as the best teacher for that year. I was very happy for her as well. During my course selection for college, she guided me a lot. She helped me understand which course would be the best for me and sometimes helped me with those subjects.

She was always like a blessing in disguise for me.

A Special Moment In My Life

Last year on teacher's day, I, along with my classmates, gave her a surprise visit at her house and gifted her some chocolates as she loved chocolates. We also gave her a diary and a parker pen. She was delighted and almost burst into tears with happiness. We all had a wonderful time and then went for lunch in the nearby restaurant. It was a special moment for me as well as my friends.

We all have had teachers in our lives who have had a genuine impact on how we live. Every student has a unique space designated in their heart for their professors. There is no substitute for a teacher in a student's life. They give of themselves to make our lives successful.

The Epitome of Wisdom

Mr. Smith was not just a teacher; he was a philosopher, a mentor, and a friend. His profound knowledge and understanding of literature were not confined to the textbooks. He introduced us to the world beyond the academic curriculum, where literature was not just about understanding the text but about comprehending the human condition.

Academic Influence

Mrs. Smith was a master of her subject. Her profound knowledge of English literature was awe-inspiring, and her explanations were always clear and concise. She had the uncanny ability to simplify complex concepts, making them accessible and digestible. She encouraged us to delve deeper, fostering a love for the subject that transcended the confines of the classroom.

Personal Development

Beyond the academics, Mrs. Smith was a mentor in the truest sense. She recognized the unique potential in each student and worked tirelessly to nurture it. Her approach was not just to teach us English literature but to use it as a tool for personal development. Through the nuanced exploration of characters and narratives, she taught us empathy, critical thinking, and the power of effective communication.

Encouraging Creativity

Mrs. Smith was a staunch advocate of creativity. She encouraged us to think outside the box and to express our thoughts and ideas freely. She created an environment where every opinion was valued, fostering a sense of self-confidence in us. This not only enhanced our creative skills but also prepared us for the real world, where innovative thinking is highly prized.

Life Lessons

More than just a teacher, Mrs. Smith was a repository of wisdom. She often shared anecdotes from her life, imparting valuable lessons that textbooks could not. She taught us that learning is a lifelong journey, and success is not just about grades but about the impact we make on the world. Her teachings have remained with me, guiding my actions and decisions even in college.

In conclusion, Mrs. Smith was not just my best teacher because of her academic prowess, but because of her holistic approach to teaching. She was a mentor, a guide, and a source of inspiration. She taught me to look beyond the pages of a book, to question, to think, and to create. She instilled in me a love for learning and a desire to make a difference. As I navigate through college and beyond, I carry her teachings as a compass, guiding me towards becoming a better learner, thinker, and human being.

Parents Are The Best Teachers For Their Children

mother is the best teacher essay

Sample essay

According to some people, parents make the best teachers for their children. I fully agree with this view because parents are the greatest influence on any child and the upbringing that they give will determine what the child will ultimately become in their life.

Parents are the first and foremost influence on any child. For many children, during the first few years of their life, parents are the only people in their life. They learn all important life skills from their father and mother. Parents not only teach their children to walk and talk, but also play a crucial role in shaping their character.

The seeds of character are sown during childhood and if children receive the right upbringing grounded on moral values, they will stay true to their conscience throughout their lives. By contrast, children raised by parents who lack moral values are more likely to become criminals when they grow up. That is because children learn a lot by observing and imitating. They observe each and every action of their parents and do exactly what their dad or mom does. So, for example, if children find that their parents are always honest in their dealings, they learn the importance of becoming honest. Such children will not become corrupt when they grow up. Likewise, parents who treat their servants or drivers with kindness and compassion are knowingly or unknowingly developing empathy in their children.

Parents are also the ones who encourage children to study hard and achieve their goals. Unlike teachers, parents have a vested interest in their children’s lives. They want their children to do well in life and bring honour to the family. Because of this reason, they never give up on their children. By contrast, in most cases, the contribution of the teachers at school or college is limited to helping their students learn their subjects.

To conclude, learning is not limited to mastering the concepts of science or mathematics. True learning happens outside the classroom and here parents are the ones who impart all important life lessons. Hence, the argument that parents are the best teachers for their children makes perfect sense.

Importance of My Mother in My Life Essay in 300 Words

My Mother is the most important person in my life. Her significance supersedes everyone else in my life and I know that I can’t live a moment without her blessings.

A mother stands by us through happy, sad, and challenging times in our life. She listens to our worries and is the first one to feel our pain. She cheers for us, whether it’s a small victory or a big success, and supports us every step of the way.

Emotional Importance of My Mother in My Life

I think My Mother is the most important person in my life. Without her I would have been like a lone calf, separated from his mother, running frantically from place to place. My life wouldn’t have been as easy as it seems, neither would I have been so care free and happy.

My Mother’s importance can be ascertained from the different roles she plays in my life. She is my chief advisor; my most devoted care taker; and a best friend. Despite all this, My Mother is also provides necessary emotional support, whenever I go through some of my, not so good moments.

Physical Importance of My Mother in My Life

It’s like she is still walking every step of my life with me, as she had, when I was a toddler. It’s hard to imagine waking up one morning, with My Mother not in the house. Even imagining a scenario like this sends chills down my spine and has me wondering as to what the day would be like.

I simply can’t imagine a day without my mother, even without her active involvement into my everyday affairs. Just her presence and the feel are so much necessary to get me going, always.

I have been so much dependent on her ever since my childhood that I find it difficult to perform my personal work, when she is not around.

There is absolutely no denying that a mother is the most important person for her child and the mother too shares similar emotions, probably more intense. My mother too, is indeed the most important person of my life and I would never want to part ways with her.

Essay on My Mother as My Best Friend in Words

I have made many friends in my life, but my mother is the one who is the closest to my heart. She had been staying with me through the thick and thin of my life, supporting and caring me whenever the situation demanded. We also have spent joyous times together, just as best friends do.

My Companion in Trouble

A best friend is a companion who stays with you through thick and thin. S/he is someone who never lets you down in demanding times and does everything possible to make you comfortable. For me, I don’t think that anyone else fits in better for this role, than My Mother. She is my best companion till date, and we both share a friendly relationship that has successfully withstood the test of times. She knows my deepest of secrets and I know that her only true desire is to see me happy.

I have seen times when my so called best friends have left me during troubled times, nevertheless, my mother always stood with me. She had cheered me up through sickness, sadness, depression, failures and all the wildly imaginable adversities of life. My Mother is the one who had literally carried me through the darkness till the arrival of dawn.

I still have quite a few friends, with whom I talk, play or spend time with, but, nevertheless, My Mother is my best friend and tops the list with highest marks.

Like to Spend Time Together

Didn’t two best friends like to spend time with each other? Why not! That’s how best friends are like. I could also say that my mother is my best friend, because we actually like each other’s company. Sometimes we so much enjoy being together that we hate to be disrupted.

In the time that we enjoy the most together, we don’t discuss business, but all the other worldly issues, as best friends do.

Having a best friend is great, but having your mother as your best friend is wonderful. The best part of it is that she never gets bored of your company and even when you both are separated, she never ever misses to give you a call. It is a lifelong bond of friendship that I and my mother share with each other; playing, singing, chatting and discussing our secrets. And we both realize that we have got a friend for life.

Essay on My Mother as My Best Teacher in 500 Words

My mother has always been my best teacher, who throughout her life has taught me life skills, social skills, academics, and what not. She is undoubtedly the best teacher I ever had and the most sincere one too, for she was always present to teach her valuable lessons. She might have been busy, very busy, nevertheless, she always had the time to guide me through, whenever I needed or whenever she thought it to be necessary.

My Mother as My First Teacher

She had been my best teacher from the day I came into this world and after so many years she still surprises me with her unequivocal teaching skills. My Mother took up the role of a teacher, after a few days of my birth. She was the one who made me familiar with the sounds of city’s hustle bustle and the melodious chirping of birds.

She didn’t spare any chance to introduce my relatives to me, even when I wasn’t able to talk. Thanks to my mother that I started calling their individual names as soon as I was able to.

My Mother as My Career Counselor

With all due respect to all of my teachers from my school days to college; they were excellent and had a great job framing my moral values and career. They all had been there with me for a fixed tenure, teaching the assigned subjects, after which we moved on, in our respective lives. But, there is someone who had been my best teacher and still continues to be – My Mother.

Her advice on my career has never failed me and I am glad that I conceded to it. With her experiences on life and people she was able to guide me successfully whenever I faced a confusion regarding my career.

Taught Me How to Walk and Talk

She was the first to hold my finger and teach me how to walk, also I uttered my first ever words, after her persistent persuasion. She was the one to teach me walk when I started to crawl and to teach me run after I learnt to walk.

Walking and talking are the most significant skills that a child learns in the early years after his/her birth. However, to learn these skills and to tone them s/he depends entirely on the mother.

My mother hadn’t only helped me in homework and exams when I was a kid, but also taught me valuable lessons on life, people and relations. Even today everything I do; the way I meet people; my conduct in society and elsewhere; all reflects her teachings and values.

My mother has all the attributes of a good teacher, in fact she is better teacher than usually prescribed norms of a good teacher. Any mother for that matter is the best teacher for her children, a role she ordains from the day she gives birth to a child. Teaching her children basic survival skills to socialization skills and providing career guidance, I think a mother tops the chart with flying colours.

Essay on My Mother is My Inspiration in 600 Words

My mother is an inspiration. Everything she does inspires me in some way or the other. Her hard work, her persistent faith in herself, her devotion, her love, and the way she behaves with others; the way she conducts herself with family and friends; all is an inspiration for me.

Her Inspiring Love

She is an epitome of sincerity, truthfulness and love which she showers on her family as well as others, and it has always inspired me to inherit the same qualities. Looking at the way she cares for the family and me, I am too inspired to reflect the same love onto others.

Her love is not confined to close family but she also treats strangers and even animals with compassion. She is really sensible and considerate towards the sentiments of even animals. This quality of her has always inspired me to treat every living creature with love and compassion.

Her Inspiring Strength

The strength, with which she deals with everyday hurdles faced by her and the family, has always inspired me and provided me strength in rough times. From pre nursery to till date, My Mother has always inspired me to improve, be it in academics or in life.

My mother had been my inspiration throughout my life and she still continues to be in some way or the other. Her unwavering physical endurance, when she does the household chores, day and night.

Her Inspiring Devotion

One of the most peculiar qualities of my mother and of any other mother for that matter, is, the selfless love and dedication she has for her family. This quality of her has instilled the values and need for staying together as a family in me, come what may. I am inspired to have the same dedication and love towards my family and friends.

The way she has devotedly dedicated herself to the family’s welfare and wellness, is inspiring not only for me but also for other family members. We all are inspired to move further in our endeavors, as there is always someone caring for us and loving us.

Her Inspiring Life

It wouldn’t be wrong if I say that my mother is my life’s inspiration. She inspires me in every aspect of my life, be it, personal, professional or social. Watching her own conduct and learning skills from her, has always motivated me to be exactly like her, which has also been the reason for my all achievements and successes.

Her emotional strength has inspired me to keep calm in challenging situations and her perseverance has always inspired me to pursue my own dreams. Even her domestic skills have inspired me to do clean my own clothes, polish my shoes and keeping my room neat and tidy, all by myself.

Being a life inspiration for anyone is no small deal and it requires a life full of positivity, enthusiasm and a full load of good qualities to do so. Nevertheless, my mother has achieved it with distinction and she still continues to inspire me.

The famous quote by an English poet, Rudyard Kipling – “God couldn’t not be everywhere and so he made mothers”, best explains the value and status of a mother. The phrase very clearly states that a mother is equivalent only to God and therefore she exhumes the same persona and performs the same duties as you would expect from God.

I find the quote justifiable as I find My Mother no less than God, for me and the family at least. Not only mine, but every mother in the world deserves a praiseworthy applause for her love, devotion and sacrifices for her children and other members of the family.

“The Best Teacher I’ve Ever Had”

by Patrick Esty

Ms. Johnson was the name, or at least that’s what I think it was. It was such a long time ago—fourth grade, I think—but I still remember her because she had such a powerful influence on my life. When I started school, I was an average person with just enough enthusiasm as everyone else on the block, but after the fourth grade, I was full of energy. Ms. Johnson want you to succeed and supported you as an individual person to be the best you would be. I remember the very first week of the school year. It is so vivid in my mind.

“You better GET in that chair right away!” she yelled, and I sat down as if I were mounting a horse. She went on and pointed me out with her pencil while taking attendance. “Do you know how to sit BOY! You better GET UP and TRY again!”

After taking attendance, she gave one of the most important speeches I have ever listened to in my life. “Hello, my  name is Ms. Johnson – not ‘Miss,’ not ‘Johnson,’ ‘John,’ ‘teacher,’ or ‘son,’ — Ms. Johnson. You raise your hand when you want to talk and ask me if you want to move, and when i say ‘Jump,’ you better ask me, ‘How high?’” She sure knew how to discipline her pupils, but she had another side to her that was more civilized and controlled. THis side was much stronger than her first.

“… But there’s one thing you all have to learn before the year starts. It’s a thing you were born with, ‘common sense.’ Everybody has it, because if you don’t have it, you weren’t born!”

Then someone in the class asked her why she walked on a crutch. She answered in a low voice. “I broke my left leg trying to stop a fight. That’s what happens when people don’t use their common sense. They injure others as well as themselves.”

I think Ms. Johnson was the most powerful force in Engleberg Elementary School. Everyone who went through the school could tell you bout her. She taught everyone self-control. It is rare if you ever see someone from Engleberg start a fight or be involved in a crime. In fact, if it weren’t for her, many people I know wouldn’t be in school any more. She was not only a good teacher who taught discipline, but she was a great teacher who knew math, reading and writing skills. Being taught by Ms. Johnson is an experience no one forgets.

One day, she got all of the students to enter a writing contest. I, being a lazy person since kindergarten, didn’t do it until the very last day it was due. You should have seen it! I scribbled together some really interesting stuff in those 24-hours, and knowing Ms. Johnson, I thought she wouldn’t like it at all. Boy, was I surprised.

“Patrick,” she said to me in private as I came to school one morning, “that was a  very good essay you wrote.” My mouth hung wide open. “Really!” I said with a  excited voice. “I thought it was terrible.” “No. 1 think you have some talent and I’m going to enter it in the city-level for competition.”

She did. Three months later, a gold medal came into my hands and she congratulated me. “You never know how good you are until you try. You are more than you think you are, Patrick. I want to see you do more…”

When I brought that gold medal home with me that night, my parents were “proud, proud, PROUD!” I could almost cry. I could almost laugh. I could hug Ms. Johnson, the one-legged lady, and only thank her for her tremendous support to raise my ego.

Today, I have received two good citizenship awards, hundreds of class achievements and perfect attendance certificates, and will graduate as class valedictorian in high school. Just think. Without her, I would be just an average guy. She helped me in my life tremendously.

Wanda Raven, Ms. Raven to those of us who are her students, is who I call the “Best Teacher” I’ve ever had. Her teaching style, personality and her desire to help me to succeed are the three qualities that l admire most about her.

Teaching styles vary greatly among teachers of different subjects as well as teachers of different grade levels. I was first introduced to Ms. Raven my sophomore year of high school when I became a student in her biology class. In the beginning she was like any other teacher, same grading scale, same class objectives. Yet after the first couple of days I could tell that she was different. When teaching she did her best to make us understand, not help us understand. If she felt you needed help she would allow time in her schedule to fit you in. being in a school where there is a lot of competition among the students made me seek her out even for the smallest problems. She was always there to help me and make me learn.

When you picture how many people you come in contact with and how many teachers you’ve had, still have and will have in the future you realize how impersonal the relationships are. Ms. Raven’s intent seemed to be that she wanted to get to know each student so she could help with school or personal problems. I happened to stop to talk to her one day and that’s when I discovered what a nice personality she had. She greets me every time I see her and shares a few words. It was that sophomore year that I began having problems that I needed to talk about. I decided to seek some advice and help. Ms. Raven was always around to talk to listen. Her ability to listen is one part of her personality that stands out the most. She always found time to listen and no matter what was said she took it all to heart’, even the smallest, silliest problem. She never repeated what was said. Giving good, sound advice and helping to make me talk things out are two more qualities that I admire. Though most teachers would stop there, she didn’t. When she needed to talk she sought me out and confided a lot in me. Some might take that as a burden, I didn’t. I felt that if she could listen to me then I could do the same. Never have I had a teacher like that.

When the school year ends, I usually have no further contact with my teachers. Ms. Raven came to me again my year of high school and asked if I needed help. I shared a few of my career goals with her and found out that she had a lot of knowledge from past experience about one of my future goals. Whenever I had a question or a doubt about something relating to school or college I could always find her and discuss it with her. Whenever she’d come across an article or literature pertaining to a career she would make sure I received a copy of it. These types of things express a desire to help me succeed and I’m grateful for that.

I’d like to finish by saying that I’ve never before come across a person like Ms. Raven. Her personality outshines those of most teachers. Her desire for my success in life seems only surpassed by my parents, family and the staff of Upward Bound. Her ability to teach and her process of teaching is a great help to me and to others. To me Ms. Raven is the Best Teacher” I’ve ever had.

by Dwight Thomas

During all the years of my education to date, there have been many teachers that have got me to the level of education I’ve reached today. I’m going to tell you about the best teacher I think I will ever have. Mr. Birmingham was the greatest influence on me because the way he taught the class was at a level where everybody could catch the topic of discussion. He would help you out with problems in and out of school. He also would tell you his feelings straight from the heart. Mr. Birmingham’s teachings were in a “class” all by themselves.

When you entered seventh hour history, you knew everything that was going on. “Mr. Birm,” as we would call him, refused to let a person get behind the rest of the class.

He went by the motto, “If the ship is hit, everyone on board goes down.” Mr. Birm would go back to items to help that unfortunate student catch on. If that didn’t work, we would read the chapter over until everyone caught on. Mr. Birm not only cared about studies, but he would be there for you when it was a problem out of school.

If a student ever had a problem and had no one to turn to, you could always turn to room 337. Mr. Birm would be there to discuss even the most delicate problem in a mature and understanding manner. If you needed to borrow money, he would give it to you with absolutely no complaints. I know he’s helped me out a number of times. You may think because he was nice he was a push-over, I doubt it highly.

If there is one thing I remember very well about Mr. Birm, it was that he was never afraid to express his feelings. If he saw something done he didn’t like, he’d tell you. He couldn’t stand for horsing around. I don’t think he ever felt sorry for a student he told off either. This shows me he not only has the utmost respect for the students, but he respected himself. These are the characteristics of a great teacher.

I will remember Mr. Birmingham for the rest of my life, for he has taught me many things. Respect for not only others but myself. To help others as I would want them to help me. He also did a good job of teaching history, too. Mr. Birmingham is definitely my all-time best teacher.

Being The Parent

Mother is the First Teacher and Her Role in Effective Parenting

Editorial Team

Parenting is a team effort. There is an old African proverb that says it takes a village to raise a child. While a child is influenced and shaped by the entire society, no two individuals play a more pivotal role in this than the parents. Both mom and dad play important and differing roles in parenting. But, Mother is the first teacher of the child.

Let us not confuse “parenting” with the “responsibilities of a parent.” The “tasks” of raising a child can be divided equally and interchangeably between both parents. But parenting is much beyond these tasks. It involves promoting a child’s well-being by supporting his/her physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.

mother and kids

Different Roles of a Mother

A mother has a significant impact on a child’s overall growth and well-being. Following are the six most important roles played by a mother in her child’s life:

1. The Mother is the First Teacher of a Child

The Mother is the first teacher of a child. A child is the greatest blessing of God for the parents. But along with this angel, comes the responsibility of nurturing and growing your child. This is not an easy job and requires a great amount of patience and perseverance.

Children have highly impressionable minds, and they watch and copy just about everything. Raising your happy, positive children is a shared responsibility of both the parents, but as we all know, a child ends up being with the mother more often and most part of the day owing to needs that only a mother can fulfill.

Since a mother spends the maximum time with her baby, therefore the mother is the first teacher of her child, and the kid believes in her and also follows her completely.

2. Mother as a Nurturer

No offense to the Dads out there – but mommies are slightly more important to the child’s nurturing than daddies. Mothers have an instinctive ability to be sensitive to their children. Mothers read the signs better – right from the time their baby is born.

And there is a strong emotional connection between a mother and a child that a dad cannot simply emulate. As mothers, you need to keep your eyes open and observe the children for any emotional, physical, or behavioral changes. This way, a mother can recognize any problem early on, without waiting for it to turn into a “situation.”

mother and daughter

3. Mother as a Secure Anchor

A baby starts recognizing the mother’s scent and face merely days after birth. From that moment on, the mother’s presence, her touch, her voice is all a secure base for the child. “I want my mommy” is often the first reaction to anything that upsets the child.

This is why it is important for the mother to work on strengthening this trusted bond between herself and her child. Unreasonable anger and impatience, spanking, and public shaming are some of the ways you can lose this trust easily.

As a mother is the first teacher, you have to make your child feel safe and secure – this is often a taken-for-granted role, but is nevertheless important as insecurity can lead to many emotional and psychological problems in your child.

4. Mother as a Confidant

Just as easy as a mother can read her children from their expressions and body language, she can also easily talk to them about what they are going through. Mommies are more verbal than daddies, because, well, women generally talk more than men.

They are also better listeners, and children find it easy to open up to their mommies when they are troubled. Even if there are no problems brewing, mothers are always interested to know more about their children. They ask more questions and are better at getting answers.

As a mother, you need to keep this communication channel open and live until they become adults. As the child grows, they tend to confide more in their friends than their parents. This is why you need to be their friend, have daily interactions, and share a good laugh – not just start talking when there is trouble.

As the mother, as the first teacher, can teach things to her baby, she spends more time with them.

mother consoling daughter

5. Mother as an Emotional Anchor

Women and their emotions are often the butts of men’s jokes. But it is her emotional facet that helps her connect deeply with her children. A mother can easily hug a child or cry with him/her in public – something daddies tend to avoid.

Mothers can talk about their feelings with the children, and hence they are better equipped to teach the children how to deal with emotions. A mother is the one who understands the needs and moods of her child. She knows what her child wants, even when the child has not spoken much.

This gives emotional security to the child. This, combined with her role as a nurturer, helps a mother improve her child’s emotional intelligence and sensitivity to others. That’s why the mother is the first teacher for each and every baby in their life.

6. The Mother is the First Teacher as an Educator

Mother reading a book to her girl

A mother is the original pre-school! Mommies are more likely to engage their children in various learning activities – from singing a rhyme out loud to solving a puzzle – than the daddies. This is because, as we said earlier, mommies are better at communication.

They are also good at being playful, and more importantly, they are patient with their child’s pace. They are also very good at teaching children soft skills. As a mother, you need to interact with your child as much as you can and help them learn and be organized when they are more independent.

7. Mother as a Disciplinarian

Mother having conversation with daughter

A mother has to maintain a balance between ‘being strict’ and ‘pampering the child.’ She has to inculcate a sense of responsibility in the child. She is the one who makes them learn the first lessons of life.

The mother is the one who makes her child understand what is being said and they learn to follow her instructions smoothly. She gives them toilet training and teaches them how to express their needs. She makes them mentally strong to face the outer world when they first leave home to join the school.

Let’s Conclude

Many of the above roles can be taken up by daddies, too – however, the mother is the first teacher genetically wired to be better at this than the men. So, mommies, you are the most important person in your child’s life, and the mother is the first teacher in their life to improve their skills.

It is your duty to be available for them, listen to them, solve their problems, and make them feel safe. Follow your “mothers’ instincts” because you are their true knight in shining armor!

“The mother is the first teacher of the child. The message she gives that child, that child gives to the world.” — Ma lcolm X

Mothers are life givers, they are the ones who are there to hold our hands when we take our first steps, they help us understand the world around us but most of all a mother plays the role of a child’s first teacher. The child looks at her and tries to impersonate her, they learn to distinguish between the good and bad.

A mother in her journey of bringing up the child makes many sacrifices on the way and it is through those instances a child learns to grow up to be sensible, caring and compassionate towards other human beings. This Teacher’s Day let us look at a few stories of sacrifice, courage and joy that mothers bring to our lives as some one who teaches us to go forward in life and fight all obstacles.

She sets an example to many independent ladies who think they are baseless after their husbands and family support. I love my mother and always love her. I always pray to God to bless my mother with a healthy and prosperous life.

We all know that the place of the Mother is at the top as she is more valuable than God. She is the most important and special person in everyone’s life. In fact, we can say that a mother is the most precious gift of God for anyone. Mother is the first teacher for every child from which a baby can learn respect and caring, learn to speak, and a child can see the world only because of a mother. She can be a friend, parent, guardian, caretaker, and teacher in her life for their child also, she takes the responsibility to run a family and make the home as beautiful as heaven. Her smile illuminates the entire home with her presence, affection, and love. Every human being or living creature has a special and emotional attachment to their mother. For all the babies in this world, the safest and most relaxing place is their mother’s lap.

A mother holds the entire responsibility of her family and the happiness of the people living in the house. She helps and takes care of everyone, whether they are elders, kids, or grandparents. She is so delightful and helpful that she is always ready to help her neighbors and friends when needed. Her love is unconditional and pure for everyone in her family. She never stepped back from her responsibilities and always takes care of the house without objecting by saying a single word. Many mothers are multifunctional as they take care of their house and run a business or do some other activities. She has a wonderful capacity to face the challenges in her life and a way to make them into opportunities. They have the ability to manage the obstacles that come in her path of handling the business and caring for the house. She surprises everyone with her skills. She is very good at multitasking, and she can handle it gently without any hesitation.

The nature of the mother is incomparable in this world she always loves their loved ones unconditionally without any returnable expectations. A mother is not just a simple word. It is a whole universe itself. A famous writer once said, “God could not be present everywhere for everyone. Therefore, they created mothers.” A house is not like a house with an absence of a mother, and a family is always imperfect and incomplete without her.

Genuinely, no one can define the meaning of the word ‘Mother.’ We all get a holiday every year on holidays weekends, but a mother has no holidays, no weekends, and works continuously throughout the year without a single leave, even when she feels ill. She never demands anything in return for her work and care. She possesses many qualities that make her an idol of care and love. She always forgives her loved ones for their mistakes and always tries to correct our faults with some strict measures to realize our mistakes and understand our responsibilities. She always sacrifices something to make their children responsible person in their life and achieve success and further a comfortable life. She is a selfless Human Being, and we must have to respect her.

Famous poet George Eliot quotes

Life began with waking up

And loving my mother’s face

YES, we all start our day with our mother’s smiling face. My day started when my mother gets me up early in the morning. For me, my mom is the best example of love and kindness in this universe. She knows how to take care of us.

From the very tender age, I became a fan of her as I like my mom’s hardworking and dedicated nature. My mom sacrificed a lot in order to shape my life. She has brought me up with utmost love and care.

She could understand me even when I couldn’t utter a word. Mother is another name of true love. A mother loves his child selflessly and doesn’t expect or demand anything in return. My mother whom I call mom turns our house into a home.

My mother is the busiest person at our home. She gets up much before the sun rises and start to perform her duty. She cooks food for us, takes care of us, goes shopping and even plans our future too.

In our family, my mother plans how to spend and how to save for the future. My mom was my first teacher. She also plays a vital role in shaping my moral character. She doesn’t even forget to take care of our health.

Whenever any one of our family members falls sick, my mother spends a sleepless night and sits beside him/her and take care of him/her for the whole night. My mom never tires of her responsibility. My father also depends on her whenever he finds any difficulty in taking any serious decision.

The word mother is full of emotion and love. The value of this sweet word is truly felt by those children who don’t have anyone to call ‘mother’. So the one who has his/her mother beside them should feel proud.

But in today’s world, some wicked children consider their mother a burden when she gets old. The person who spends all her life for their children become a burden for their child at the last moment of her life.

Some selfish child even doesn’t bother to send his/her mom to old age home. This is really a shame and unfortunate incident as well. The government should keep an eye to those incidents and should take those shameless children in judicial custody.

I want to stand with my mother like a shadow all the time. I know today I am here only because of her. So I want to serve my mother for the rest of my life. I also want to build my carrier so that my mom feels proud of me.

Essay On Nature is the Best Teacher | Lessons of Nature | What Nature Teaches Us

Essay on Nature is Best Teacher

Nature is the beauty of life. It is the perfect teacher because it teaches without words. When we are in nature, we are surrounded by beauty. The sun sets and the stars come out; the leaves rustle in the wind and the water rushes over rocks. These are all natural wonders that never cease to amaze us.

Some would say that nature’s beauty is one of its greatest assets. There is something about being in the great outdoors that inspires awe and reverence in people. Witnessing the power and majesty of a thunderstorm, for example, can be a life-changing experience.

But it’s not just the beauty of nature that makes it such an effective teacher. The rhythms of the natural world are also incredibly therapeutic. Spending time outside in nature allows people to take a break from the hectic pace of life and reconnect with their inner selves.

In addition, nature is a great teacher because it is always changing. No two days are ever the same in the natural world, and this constant change keeps people’s attention spans engaged. There is always something new to explore and learn in nature.

Lessons of Nature

There are countless lessons that nature teaches us, but some of the most important ones include:

How to live in harmony with others: One of the things that makes nature so amazing is that it is a perfect example of how everything works together in harmony. The sun provides light and warmth, the water cleanses and refreshes, the plants provide oxygen and fresh food, and the animals provide companionship and help to keep the ecosystem in balance.

How to be patient: Nature teaches us the importance of being patient. Things happen in nature at their own pace, and there is no rushing Mother Nature. She always provides what we need when we need it, and nothing is ever forced.

How to appreciate the simple things in life: In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and forget what’s truly important in life. Nature reminds us that the simple things are often the most beautiful. A sunset, a gentle breeze, or a bed of flowers can be just as breathtaking as any man-made structure.

How to be resilient: Nature is a great teacher of resilience. No matter how many times it is battered by storms, nature always bounces back. This teaches us that no matter how many setbacks we face in life, we can always pick ourselves up and start again.

Conclusion

There is no question that nature is the best teacher. It provides us with beauty, inspiration, and lessons that we can apply to our own lives. The next time you need a teacher, look no further than nature.

Short Essay on Nature is the Best Teacher:

Nature has always been a source of inspiration and wisdom for mankind. From the ancient civilizations to modern society, humans have looked towards nature to gain knowledge and guidance. It is often said that nature is the best teacher, and there are many reasons why this statement holds true.

Firstly, nature teaches us about adaptation and resilience. It constantly adapts to changing environments and conditions, and this teaches us the importance of adapting to our surroundings. In today’s fast-paced world, where change is constant, it is crucial for us to learn how to adapt in order to thrive.

Secondly, nature instills a sense of patience and stillness within us. We live in a world where everything moves at a rapid pace and we are always chasing after something. However, observing nature teaches us the value of taking a step back and appreciating the present moment. It reminds us to slow down and find peace in stillness.

Furthermore, nature is the ultimate example of balance and harmony. It shows us that every element has a purpose and plays a vital role in maintaining equilibrium. This can be seen in the intricate relationships between plants, animals, and the environment. As humans, we can learn to find balance in our own lives by observing nature’s patterns.

Moreover, nature is a constant reminder of the cycle of life. We witness birth, growth, decay, and death in the natural world, and this teaches us about the impermanence of everything. It helps us understand that change is inevitable and that we must learn to let go and embrace the new.

In addition, nature teaches us about unity and interconnectedness. Despite the diverse forms of life on Earth, everything is interconnected in a complex web. This reminds us that we are all a part of something bigger and that our actions can have ripple effects on the world around us.

Lastly, nature teaches us to be grateful for the blessings in our lives. It provides us with food, water, and resources necessary for our survival. By observing the beauty and abundance of nature, we can learn to appreciate all that we have been given and not take it for granted.

In conclusion, nature is indeed the best teacher as it imparts valuable lessons about life and its workings. By paying attention to nature’s teachings, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. It is up to us to open our hearts and minds to this powerful teacher and learn from its wisdom.

Essay Nature is the Great Teacher in about 150 Words:

Nature is often called the great teacher because it has been teaching us valuable lessons since the beginning of time. From the tiniest ant to the tallest mountain, nature has a way of showing us how everything is interconnected and how everything works together in harmony.

One of the first lessons we learn from nature is resilience. Just like trees bend with strong winds but never break, we also learn to adapt and overcome challenges that come our way. Nature teaches us to be patient and persistent, as things take time to grow and develop.

Moreover, nature shows us the beauty of simplicity. In a world where we are constantly bombarded with complex systems and technologies, nature reminds us to appreciate the simple things in life, like the warmth of the sun or the sound of birds singing.

Nature also teaches us the importance of diversity and coexistence. In an ecosystem, every plant and animal has a specific role to play, and they all rely on each other for survival. This is a valuable lesson for humans as well, as we learn to respect and appreciate the differences among us.

Finally, nature teaches us the concept of balance. Just like how everything in nature is perfectly balanced, with predators and prey, day and night, good and bad, we also learn the importance of maintaining balance in our own lives.

What is Nature Essay:

Nature is all around us. It is the birds singing in the trees, the sun shining on our faces, and the wind rustling through the leaves. But what exactly is nature? Is it just a collection of living and non-living things, or is there something more to it?

The concept of nature has been debated for centuries by philosophers, scientists, and ordinary people. Some view nature as a powerful force that controls our lives, while others see it as a source of beauty and inspiration. No matter what your perspective is, one thing is for sure – nature is an integral part of our daily lives.

Biologically speaking, nature encompasses all living organisms and their interactions with each other and the environment. This includes plants, animals, insects, and humans. Nature is a complex web of relationships that work together to sustain life on our planet. Without nature, we would not exist.

But nature is more than just living things; it also includes non-living elements such as water, air, mountains, and oceans. These elements provide the necessary resources for life to thrive. For example, the oxygen we breathe comes from plants, and the water we drink comes from rivers and streams. The sun provides light and warmth, essential for plant growth and survival.

Aside from its biological definition, nature also holds a deeper meaning that is often overlooked. Nature can be seen as a source of inspiration and healing. Many people find peace and solace in nature, whether it’s walking through a forest or sitting by a tranquil lake. It has the power to calm our minds and rejuvenate our spirits.

Nature also serves as a reminder of our place in the world. It humbles us and puts things into perspective. When we look at the vastness of the ocean or the majesty of a mountain, we realize how small we are in comparison. This can be both daunting and comforting at the same time.

In conclusion, nature is a multifaceted concept that encompasses all living and non-living things. It provides the essential resources for life to thrive, serves as a source of inspiration and healing, and reminds us of our place in the world.

Mom didn’t know she was pregnant and gave birth at Golden Corral. See the baby's fitting name

Baby / Golden Corral sign

When the Woodfork family sat down at a Golden Corral restaurant on May 4, they were a party of 11. They left as 12.

Tayvia Woodfork made a beeline for the bathroom when her family stopped for lunch at the all-you-can-eat chain in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

“She was complaining that her stomach hurt,” Tayvia’s mother Tameka Woodfork tells TODAY.com .

Unbeknownst to Tayvia, she was 37 weeks pregnant — and in active labor. What Tayvia is experienced is called a cryptic pregnancy , a rare situation in which someone does not know they are pregnant for most or all of gestation.

Tayvia, 26, says she didn’t gain any weight or feel any fetal movement.

“There were no signs,” Tameka tells TODAY. “We had no idea.”

Tayvia Woodfork, right, returned to Golden Corral with her son who was born there on May 6.

When 10 minutes had passed and Tayvia was still in the ladies room, Tameka went to check on her. Right away, Tameka knew that her daughter was dealing with more than a cramps. She was crying out in pain and needed medical attention.

"I didn't know what was happening," Tayvia tells TODAY.com.

“I said, ‘We have to go to the hospital,’ but she couldn’t move her legs, so we ended up calling 911,’” Tameka says.

Moments after paramedics arrived, Tayvia gave birth to a healthy 6 pound, 1 ounce, baby boy.

“They were still trying to figure out what was going on when she goes, ‘It’s out! It’s out!’” Tameka recalls. “The baby was in the toilet.”

At this point, word had spread that a patron had given birth.

"When we walked out, everybody was clapping and people were lined up to see," Tameka says.

Meet Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork!

Tayvia gave her son the name Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork. People were suggesting “Golden” but Tayvia says she likes Corral better. Tamaar joined big brother Taylon, 2.

Golden Corral shared the news across its social media and crowned him the chain’s “youngest fan.”

“As surprised as our team was at the news of a baby being born at our restaurant, we are truly honored to play such a momentous role in little Tamaar’s life,” a Golden Corral spokesperson said in a statement. “But no honor compares to having Tamaar carry on the ‘Golden Corral’ brand name in his own name, Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork!”

Tameka says the restaurant surprised them with box of baby essentials and a Golden Corral gift card.

According to his mom, Tamaar loves to eat, which is only fitting for a baby born at an endless buffet!

Essay on Good Mother for Students and Children

500+ words essay on good mother.

It is a common saying that God could not be present everywhere so he made a mother. The saying is also true as the status of the mother is equivalent to God. She is the one who gave us life and made us stand on our own feet. My mother is the idol of selfless love and ever-ready for me despite being tired. My mother is the one on whom I can completely rely on. She is the one who will never say no to our wishes. She never lets us feel the difference in love and showers any time. My mother is like the sun that chases out all darkness and gives the light of happiness and love upon me.

essay on good mother

Definition of a Good Mother

It is difficult to define a good mother in a few words. However, in very simple words I can say that a good mother is the one for whom her child is her world. There are many qualities which I see in her which makes her the world’s best mother. She loves me strongly and deeply without any condition. Apart from all this she also takes care of me with great responsibility.

Thus she is the statue of forgiveness. She forgives each and every mistake of mine and also ensures that I realize my mistakes with responsibility. A good mother does every effort to make her child one in a million. She sacrifices every comfort of her life for the comfort of her child.

Qualities of a Good Mother

There are certain natural qualities which already get inherited into a woman on acquiring motherhood.  Some qualities of a mother are as follows:

Responsible

Acquiring motherhood comes with great responsibility. The responsibility of taking care of the child before and after birth is one of the most necessary qualities of a mother. She is the one who takes care of the child since birth.

Selfless Love

A mother will always shower her children with her love without anything in return. She always loves her children selflessly in spite of their mischiefs. Her love for her children always remains the same irrespective of her child’s age.

A mother should always be supportive of their children. She should always stand strong beside her children in all of their ups and downs. So, she should be always there for supporting her children in their decisions and interests.

This is the quality which every mother should inculcate on acquiring motherhood. The high amount of patience is a must for a mother with a growing child especially.

A mother should always be empathetic for her kids. As her care is the most need for a child.

Why My Mother is Important in My Life?

Her importance could be easily understood from the fact that the first word uttered from the mouth of a child is ‘mama’. She is the source of my life and the reason for my existence. My mother is the backbone of my family. Because she binds the whole family with unity.

She gives me the confidence to face the world and motivate me to achieve success in life. She is the only one who will never have any ill thoughts against me. A good mother acts like a sculptor who molds her children into beautiful sculptures.

Mother: The First Teacher and Guide of a Child

She is the one who started my schooling at home and became my first and lovely teacher. She taught me behavioral lessons and true philosophies of life. She gave birth to me after bearing lots of pain and struggle but in turn, she is always giving me love. In fact, there is no love in this world which is so lasting, strong, selfless, pure and devoted. She is the one who brings lights in my life by removing all the darkness.

My mother is the holy creation of God and a source of providing life to me. She is a sacred statue of selfless love, sacrifices, forgiveness, and patience. She is the guiding soul who helps me always to progress on the right path and achieve success in my life.

I, as her child, will always do my best to make her happy and comfortable all the time especially when she becomes old. It is our responsibility to bestow her with the same amount of love, care and understanding as she did with us when we were young.
