प्रश्न 1. बादलों के आने पर प्रकृति में जिन गतिशील क्रियाओं को कवि ने चित्रित किया है, उन्हें लिखिए। उत्तर- बादलों के आने पर प्रकृति में निम्न गतिशील क्रियाएँ हुई
- बयार नाचती-गाती चलने लगी।
- पेड़ झुकने लगे, मानो वे गरदन उचकाकर बादलों को निहार रहे हों।
- आँधी चलने लगी। धूल उठने लगी।
- नदी मानो बाँकी नज़र उठाकर ठिठक गई। पीपल का पेड़ झुकने लगा।
- लताएँ पेड़ों की शाखाओं में छिप गईं।
- तालाब जल से भर गए।
- क्षितिज पर बिजली चमकने लगी।

प्रश्न 3. लता ने बादल रूपी मेहमान को किस तरह देखा और क्यों? उत्तर- लता ने बादल रूपी मेहमान को किवाड़ की ओट में छिपकर देखा। क्यों—वह मानिनी है। वह अपने प्रियतम के कई दिनों के बाद आने पर उनसे रूठी हुई भी है और उन्हें देखे बिना भी नहीं रह पाती।
प्रश्न 4. भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए
- क्षमा करो गाँठ खुल गई अब भरम की
- बाँकी चितवन उठा, नदी ठिठकी, पूँघट सरके।
- भाव यह है कि एक साल बीतने को हो रहे थे पर नवविवाहिता लता का पति मेघ उससे मिलने नहीं आया था। इससे लता के मन में जो भ्रम बन गया था वह मेघ के आने से टूट गया और वह क्षमा माँगने लगी।
- मेघ रूपी मेहमान को देखने के लिए नदी रूपी नवविवाहिता ठिठक गई और उसने पूँघट उठाकर मेहमान को देखा।
प्रश्न 5. मेध रूपी मेहमान के आने से वातावरण में क्या परिवर्तन हुए? उत्तर- मेघ के आने से बयार चलने लगी। पेड़ झुकने लगे। आँधी और धूल चलने लगी, नदी बाँकी होकर बहने लगी। बूढे पीपल झुकने लगे। लताएँ पेड़ की ओट में छिपने लगीं। तालाब जल से भर उठे। आकाश में मेघ छा गए। अंत में धारासार वर्षा हुई। मेहमान (दामाद) के आने पर गाँव की कन्याएँ और युवतियाँ प्रसन्न हो उठीं। लोग अपने खिड़की-दरवाजे खोलखोलकर उन्हें निहारने लगे। आते-जाते लोग उन्हें गरदन उठाकर देखने लगे। नवयुवतियों ने पूँघट सरकाकर उन्हें निहारा। बूढी स्त्रियाँ विनम्रतापूर्वक उनका स्वागत करने लगीं। अतिथि की प्रिया मान करने लगी। फिर अचानक वह क्षमा माँगने लगी। दोनों की आँखों से प्रेमाश्रु बह चले।
प्रश्न 6. मेघों के लिए ‘बन-ठने के, सँवर के आने की बात क्यों कही गई है? उत्तर- मेघों के लिए ‘बन-ठन के, सँवर के आने की बात इसलिए कही गई है क्योंकि वर्षा के बादल काले-भूरे रंग के होते हैं। नीले आकाश में उनका रंग मनोहारी लगता है। इसके अलावा गाँवों में बादलों का बहुत महत्त्व है तथा उनका इंतजार किया जाता है।
प्रश्न 7. कविता में आए मानवीकरण तथा रूपक अलंकार के उदाहरण खोजकर लिखिए। उत्तर- मानवीकरण-

प्रश्न 9. कविता में कवि ने आकाश में बादल और गाँव में मेहमान (दामाद) के आने का जो रोचक वर्णन किया है, उसे लिखिए। उत्तर- मेघ रूपी शहरी पाहुन के आते ही पूरा गाँव उल्लास से भर उठा। शीतल बयार नाचती-गाती हुई पाहुन के आगे-आगे चलने लगी। सभी ग्रामवासियों ने अपने दरवाजे और खिड़कियाँ खोल लिए, ताकि वे पाहुन के दर्शन कर सकें। पेड़ उचक-उचककर पाहुन को देखने लगे। आँधी अपना घाघरा उठाए दौड़ चली। नदी बंकिम नयनों से मेघ की सज-धज को देखकर हैरान हो गई। गाँव के पुराने पीपल ने भी मानो झुककर नमस्ते की। आँगन की लता संकोच के मारे दरवाजे की ओट में सिकुड़ गई और बोली-तुमने तो बरसों बाद हमारी सुध ली है। गाँव का तालाब पाहुन के स्वागत में पानी की परात भर लाया। क्षितिज रूपी अटारी लोगों से लद गई। बिजली भी चमकने लगी। इस प्रकार पूरा गाँव उल्लास से तरंगित हो उठा।

रचना और अभिव्यक्ति
प्रश्न 11. वर्षा के आने पर अपने आसपास के वातावरण में हुए परिवर्तनों को ध्यान से देखकर एक अनुच्छेद लिखिए। उत्तर वर्षा के आने पर आकाश बादलों से घिर जाता है। धूप अपना बस्ता समेटकर जाने कहाँ छिप जाती है। चारों ओर छायादार रोशनी दीखने लगती है। घरों में हलचल बढ़ जाती है। स्त्रियाँ आँगन में रखा अपना सामान समेटने लगती हैं। सड़कों पर आना-जाना कम हो जाता है। काले और रंगबिरंगे छाते दीखने लगते हैं। पशु-पक्षी किसी ओट की खोज में भटकने लगते हैं। मार्गों पर जल भर आता है। बच्चे बड़े उल्लास से वर्षा का आनंद लेते हैं। इस प्रकार वर्षाकाल मनमोहक हो उठता है।
प्रश्न 12. कवि ने पीपल को ही बड़ा बुजुर्ग क्यों कहा है? पता लगाइए। उत्तर- पीपल का पेड़ आकार में विशाल, हरा-भरा, छायादार होने के साथ ही शुभ माना जाता है। पूजा-पाठ और हर मांगलिक कार्यों में इसका पूजन किया जाता है, इसीलिए कवि ने पीपल को ही बड़ा बुजुर्ग कहा है।
प्रश्न 13. कविता में मेघ को ‘पाहुन’ के रूप में चित्रित किया गया है। हमारे यहाँ अतिथि (दामाद) को विशेष महत्त्व प्राप्त है, लेकिन आज इस परंपरा में परिवर्तन आया है। आपको इसके क्या करण नज़र आते हैं, लिखिए। उत्तर- पहले गाँव अपने-अपने दायरों में सीमित होते थे। गाँववासियों को बाहरी संपर्क बहुत कम होता था। अतः यदा-कदा आने वाले अतिथि का स्वागत भी बड़े मान-सम्मान और उल्लास से होता था। गाँववासियों के पास आवभगत के लिए समय और भाव भी होता था। आज परिस्थितियाँ तेजी से बदल रही हैं। मनुष्य के बाहरी संपर्क और कार्य बढ़ रहे हैं। हर मनुष्य अधिक-से-अधिक व्यस्त होता जा रहा है। उसका समय व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ पूरा करने में ही लगने लगा है। यही कारण है कि आज अतिथि-सत्कार की परंपरा का निरंतर ह्रास हो रहा है।
भाषा अध्ययन
प्रश्न 14. कविता में आए मुहावरों को छाँटकर अपने वाक्यों में प्रयुक्त कीजिए। उत्तर- कविता में आए मुहावरे और उनका वाक्य प्रयोग-
- बन-ठनकर आना – व्याह मंडप में सारे लोग बन-ठनकर आए थे।
- गरदन उचकाना – जादूगर का खेल देखने के लिए बच्चे को बार-बार गरदन उचकानी पड़ रही थी।
- सुधि लेना – उधार ले जाने के बाद कुछ लोग देने की सुधि नहीं लेते हैं।
- गाँठ खुलना – गाँठ खुलते ही दोनों के दिल का मैल धुल गया।
- बाँध टूटना – मिठाइयाँ देखकर बच्चे के धैर्य का बाँध टूट गया।
प्रश्न 15. कविता में प्रयुक्त आँचलिक शब्दों की सूची बनाइए। उत्तर- आँचलिक शब्दों की सूची- बन-ठन, पाहुन, घाघरा, पूँघट, जुहार, ओट, किवार, परात, अटारी, भरम।
प्रश्न 16. मेघ आए कविता की भाषा सरल और सहज है-उदाहरण देकर स्पष्ट कीजिए। उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता की भाषा सरल, सहज और आडंबरहीन है। कविता में आम बोल-चाल के शब्दों के अलावा आंचलिक शब्दों का भी प्रयोग है। इसमें कवि ने अपनी बात को अत्यंत सीधे-सादे सरल शब्दों में कह दिया है। भाषा में मुहावरों का प्रयोग करने तथा प्रकृति का मानवीकरण करने से भाषा की सजीवता एवं रोचकता बढ़ गई जिससे यह और भी सरल, सहज और बोधगम्य हो गई है।

- मेघों के आने पर आकाश में गर्जना होने लगी, बिजली चमकने लगी, मेढक बोलने, धरती धुली-धुली-सी नजर आने लगी और कीचड़ नज़र आने लगा।
- वर्षा होने से धरती पर कीचड़ हो गया पर यह कीचड़ त्याज्य नहीं बल्कि ग्राह्य है। इसमें जीवन की आशा छिपी है। यह माथे पर लगाने योग्य होने के कारण हरिचंदन के लेप-सा प्रतीत हो रहा है।

“निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों के संक्षिप्त उत्तर दीजिए” प्रश्न 1. ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में बादलों को किसके समान बताया गया है? उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में बादलों को शहर से आने वाले दामाद के समान बताया गया है क्योंकि बादल गाँव में उसी तरह सज-धजकर आ रहे हैं जैसे शहरी दामाद सज-धजकर आता है या इन बादलों का इंतज़ार भी दामाद की ही तरह किया जाता है।
प्रश्न 2. लता रूपी नायिका ने मेहमान से अपना रोष किस प्रकार प्रकट किया? उत्तर- नवविवाहिता लता रूपी नायिका अपने पति का इंतज़ार कर रही थी पर उसका पति एक साल बाद लौटा तो लता ने उससे रोष प्रकट करते हुए कहा, “तुमने तो पूरे साल भर बाद सुधि लिया है।” अर्थात् वह पहले क्यों नहीं आ गया।
प्रश्न 3. बूढ़ा पीपल किसको प्रतीक है? उसने मेहमान का स्वागत किस तरह किया? उत्तर- बूढ़ा पीपल घर के सबसे बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति का प्रतीक है। उसने मेहमान को आया देखकर आगे बढ़कर राम-जुहार की और उससे कुशल क्षेम पूछते हुए यथोचित स्थान पर बिठाया।
प्रश्न 4. ‘बाँध टूटा झर-झर मिलन के अश्रु ढरके’ के आधार पर बताइए कि ऐसा कब हुआ और क्यों? उत्तर- ‘बाँध टूटा आया मेघ रूपी मेहमान अपनी लता रूपी नवविवाहिता पत्नी से मिला। पहले तो लता ने अपना रोष प्रकट किया और फिर उसका धैर्य टूटा। इससे उनकी आँखों से आँसू बहने लगे।
प्रश्न 5. प्राकृतिक रूप से किस श्रम की गाँठ खुलने की बात कही गई है? ‘मेघ आए’ कविता के आधार पर लिखिए। उत्तर- ग्रामीण संस्कृति में बादलों का बहुत महत्त्व है। वहाँ कृषि-कार्य बादलों पर निर्भर करता है, इसलिए बादलों की प्रतीक्षा की जाती है। इस बार जब साल बीत जाने पर भी बादल नहीं आए तो लोगों के मन में यह भ्रम हो गया था कि इस साल अब बादल नहीं आएँगे पर बादलों के आ जाने से उनके इस भ्रम की गाँठ खुल गई।
प्रश्न 6. ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में किस संस्कृति का वर्णन किया गया है? सोदाहरण लिखिए। उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में ग्रामीण संस्कृति का वर्णन है। बादलों के आगमन पर उल्लास का वातावरण बनना, हवा चलना, पेड़ पौधों का झूमना, आँधी चलना, धूल उड़ना, लता का पेड़ की ओट में छिपना बादलों का गहराना, बिजली का चमकना, बरसात होना आदि सभी ग्रामीण संस्कृति से ही संबंधित हैं।
प्रश्न 7. कविता में मेघ रूपी मेहमान के आने पर कौन क्या कर रहे हैं? उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में हवा मेघ आने की सूचना देने का काम, पेड़ों द्वारा मेघ को देखने का कार्य, बूढ़ा पीपल, मेघ का स्वागत एवं अभिवादन करने, ताल द्वारा परात में पानी भरकर लाने का काम, लता द्वारा उलाहना देने एवं उससे मिलने का काम किया जा रहा है।
प्रश्न 8. ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में नदी किसका प्रतीक है? वह पूँघट सरकाकर किसे देख रही है? उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में नदी गाँव की उस विवाहिता स्त्री का प्रतीक है जो अभी भी परदा करती है। वह किसी अजनबी या रिश्तेदार के सामने घूघट करती है। वह गाँव आ रहे बादल रूपी मेहमान को पूँघट सरकाकर देख रही है।
प्रश्न 9. ताल किसका प्रतीक है? वह परात में पानी भरकर लाते हुए किस भारतीय परंपरा का निर्वाह कर रहा है? उत्तर- ताल घर के किसी उत्साही नवयुवक का प्रतीक है। मेघ रूपी मेहमान के आने पर वह परात में पानी भर लाता है। ऐसा करके वह घर आए मेहमान के पाँव धोने की भारतीय संस्कृति की परंपरा का निर्वाह कर रहा है।
प्रश्न 10. ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में एक साल बाद अपने पति मेघ को देखकर नवविवाहिता नायिका की क्या दशा हुई? उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में एक साल बाद अपने पति मेघ को देखकर नवविवाहिता नायिका का मान जाग उठा। उसने एक साल बाद सुधि लेने के लिए मेघ से शिकायत की पर मेघ के आने से उसके मन का भ्रम शूट गया और उसकी आँखों से आँसू बहने लगे।
दीर्घ उत्तरीय प्रश्नोत्तर
प्रश्न 1. शहरी मेहमान के आने से गाँव में जो उत्साह दृष्टिगोचर होता है, उसे मेघ आए कविता के आलोक में लिखिए। उत्तर- शहरी मेहमान के आने से गाँव में हर्ष उल्लास का वातावरण बन जाता है। गाँव में बादलों के आगमन का इंतज़ार किया जाता है। बादल के आते ही बच्चे, युवा, स्त्री, पुरुष सभी प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं। पेड़-पौधे झूम-झूमकर अपनी खुशी प्रकट करते हैं। बच्चे भाग-भाग बादलों के आने की सूचना देते फिरते हैं। युवा उत्साहित होकर बादलों को देखते हैं तो स्त्रियाँ दरवाजे खिड़कियाँ खोलकर बादलों को देखने लगती हैं। बादलों के बरसने पर सर्वत्र उत्साह का वातावरण छा जाता है।
प्रश्न 2. ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में अतिथि का जो स्वागत-सत्कार हुआ है, उसमें भारतीय संस्कृति की कितनी झलक मिली है, अपने शब्दों में लिखिए। उत्तर- ‘मेघ आए’ कविता में मेघ रूपी मेहमान के आने पर उसका भरपूर स्वागत होता है। वह साल बाद अपनी ससुराल आ रहा है। यहाँ लोग उत्सुकता से प्रतीक्षारत हैं। मेहमान के आते ही घर का सबसे बुजुर्ग और सम्मानित सदस्य उसकी अगवानी करता है, उसको सम्मान देते हुए राम-जुहार करता है और कुशलक्षेम पूछता है। मेहमान को यथोचित स्थान पर बैठा देखकर घर का सदस्य उत्साहपूर्वक परात में पानी भर लाता है ताकि मेहमान के पैर धो सके। इस तरह हम देखते हैं कि मेहमान का जिस तरह स्वागत किया गया है उसमें भारतीय संस्कृति की पर्याप्त झलक मिलती है।

In the academic session of 2021-2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) introduced updates and deletions to the Class 9 Hindi B syllabus. These modifications were made as part of CBSE's ongoing efforts to streamline the curriculum and focus on core content. The changes included the removal of certain chapters and sections to reduce the overall syllabus, making it more manageable for students. The same alteration in the syllabus is to be followed for the 2024-2025 academic session.

प्रश्न 1. “रहिमन जिह्वा बावरी, कहि गइ सरग पताल। आपु तो कहि भीतर रही, जूती खात कपाल।” दोहे का भाव है-
सोच-समझकर बोलना चाहिए।
मधुर वाणी में बोलना चाहिए।
धीरे – धीरे बोलना चाहिए।
सदा सच बोलना चाहिए।

प्रश्न 2. “रहिमन देखि बड़ेन को, लघु न दीजिये डारि । जहाँ काम आवे सुई, कहा करे तलवारि।” इस दोहे का भाव क्या है?
तलवार सुई से बड़ी होती है।
सुई का काम तलवार नहीं कर सकती।
तलवार का महत्व सुई से ज्यादा है।
हर छोटी-बड़ी चीज़ का अपना महत्व होता है।
उत्तर: हर छोटी-बड़ी चीज़ का अपना महत्व होता है।
(ख) अब अपने मित्रों के साथ चर्चा कीजिए और कारण बताइए कि आपने यही उत्तर क्यों चुने? उत्तर:
सोच-समझकर बोलना चाहिए ताकि बाद में पछतावा न पड़े।
हर छोटी-बड़ी चीज़ का अपना महत्व होता है अर्थात किसी को उसके रूप, आकार या आर्थिक स्थिति से नहीं आंकना चाहिए क्योंकि प्रत्येक का अपनी-अपनी जगह महत्व होता है।
मिलकर करें मिलान
पाठ में से कुछ दोहे स्तंभ 1 में दिए गए हैं और उनके भाव स्तंभ 2 में दिए गए हैं। अपने समूह में इन पर चर्चा कीजिए और रेखा खींचकर सही भाव से मिलान कीजिए।

पंक्तियों पर चर्चा
नीच दिए गए दोहों पर समूह में चर्चा कीजिए और उनके अर्थ या भावार्थ अपनी लेखन पुस्तिका में लिखिए –
(क) “रहिमन बिपदाहू भली, जो थोरे दिन होय । हित अनहित या जगत में, जानि परत सब कोय। ” उत्तर: रहीमदास का मानना है कि थोड़े दिन की विपदा भी भली होती है जो हमें यह बता देती है कि संसार में कौन हमारा हितैषी है और कौन अहितैषी अर्थात कौन हमारा मुश्किल में साथ देने वाला है और कौन नहीं।
(ख) “रहिमन जिह्वा बावरी, कहि गइ सरग पताल। आपु तो कहि भीतर रही, जूती खात कपाल।” उत्तर: रहीमदास का कहना है कि हमारी जीभ बिलकुल बावरी अर्थात पागल जैसी होती है । यह कई बार ऐसा कुछ बोल देती है कि दिमाग को जूते खाने पड़ते हैं अर्थात मनुष्य को पछताना पड़ता है।
सोच-विचार के लिए
दोहों को एक बार फिर से पढ़िए और निम्नलिखित के बारे में पता लगाकर अपनी लेखन पुस्तिका में लिखिए-
प्रश्न 1. “रहिमन धागा प्रेम का, मत तोड़ो छिटकाय। टूटे से फिर ना मिले, मिले गाँठ परि जाय।”
(क) इस दोहे में ‘मिले’ के स्थान पर ‘जुड़े’ और ‘छिटकाय’ के स्थान पर ‘चटकाय’ शब्द का प्रयोग भी लोक में प्रचलित है। जैसे— “रहिमन धागा प्रेम का, मत तोड़ो चटकाय। टूटे से फिर ना जुड़े, जुड़े गाँठ पड़ जाय ।” इसी प्रकार पहले दोहे में ‘डारि’ के स्थान पर ‘डार’, ‘तलवार’ के स्थान पर ‘तरवार’ और चौथे दोहे में ‘’मानुष’ के स्थान पर ‘मानस’ का उपयोग भी प्रचलित हैं। ऐसा क्यों होता है? उत्तर: डारि के स्थान पर डार तलवारि के स्थान पर तलवार मानुष के स्थान पर मानस आदि शब्दों का प्रयोग थोडी-सी दूरी पर बोली बदल जाने के कारण होता है।
(ख) इस दोहे में प्रेम के उदाहरण में धागे का प्रयोग ही क्यों किया गया है? क्या आप धागे के स्थान पर कोई अन्य उदाहरण सुझा सकते हैं? अपने सुझाव का कारण भी बताइए। उत्तर: कवि ने प्रेम के टूटने को धागे द्वारा दर्शाया है कि जिस प्रकार धागा एक बार टूट जाए तो उसे जोड़ने के लिए गाँठ लगानी पड़ती है। ऐसे ही प्रेम संबंधों में दरार आ जाए तो भले ही उन्हें फिर से जोड़ लिया जाए परंतु मन-मुटाव रह ही जाता है। इसे हम अन्य उदाहरणों द्वारा भी समझ सकते है जैसे-
नदी के जल से एक लोटा पानी ले लिया जाए तो उन्हें दोबारा नदी में मिलाया तो जा सकता है परंतु उसे उसकी सहोदर (मित्र) बूँदों से नहीं मिलाया जा सकता। ऐसे ही किसी से संबंध अगर टूट जाए तो दोबारा वैसे नहीं बन पाते।
एक टूटे हुए लकड़ी के डंडे को प्रयत्न करके सिल भी लिया जाए तो हम पहले की भाँति उसका प्रयोग नहीं कर सकते। हर बार ध्यान से प्रयोग करना पड़ता है।
एक कीमती कपड़े के फट जाने पर उसे कितना भी सिल लिया जाए लेकिन मन में उसका फटा होना खटकता ही रहता है।
प्रश्न 2. “तरुवर फल नहिं खात हैं, सरवर पियहिँ न पान । कहि रहीम पर काज हित, संपति सँचहि सुजान।” इस दोहे में प्रकृति के माध्यम से मनुष्य के किस मानवीय गुण की बात की गई है? प्रकृति से हम और क्या-क्या सीख सकते हैं? उत्तर: प्रकृति के माध्यम से इस दोहे में मनुष्य के इस मानवीय गुण की बात की गई है कि जैसे पेड़ अपने फल नहीं खाते, सरोवर अपना जल ग्रहण नहीं करते। ऐसे ही सज्जन धन का संचय स्वयं के लिए न करके दूसरों की भलाई के लिए करते हैं। प्रकृति से हम और गुण भी सीख सकते हैं। जैसे-
नदियों के जल की भाँति निरंतर आगे बढ़ना चाहिए।
जिस प्रकार तपती गरमी से बचाने के लिए वृक्ष छाया देते हैं, वैसे ही दूसरों के कठिन समय में हमें उनकी मदद करनी चाहिए।
फूलों की भाँति अपने अच्छे कार्यों की सुगंध चारों ओर बिखेरनी चाहिए।
सूरज की भाँति अच्छे कार्य करने पर अपना नाम जग में चमकाना चाहिए।
चाँद की चाँदनी की ठंड कला की भाँति अपने विचारों से सबको प्रभावित करना चाहिए।
पर्वतों की भाँति अपने विचारों को दृढ़ रखना चाहिए।
सागर की भाँति अपने हृदय को विशाल बनाना चाहिए। जीवन में अच्छी-बुरी जिन भी घटनाओं का सामना हो उन्हें गहराई से अपने अंदर समेटना चाहिए।
शब्दों की बात
हमने शब्दों के नए-नए रूप जाने और समझे। अब कुछ करके देखें-
कविता में आए कुछ शब्द नीचे दिए गए हैं। इन शब्दों को आपकी मातृभाषा में क्या कहते हैं? लिखिए।

शब्द एक अर्थ अनेक
“रहिमन पानी राखिये, बिनु पानी सब सून। पानी गए न ऊबरै, मोती, मानुष, चून।”
इस दोहे में ‘पानी’ शब्द के तीन अर्थ हैं— सम्मान, जल, चमक।
इसी प्रकार कुछ शब्द नीचे दिए गए हैं। आप भी इन शब्दों के तीन-तीन अर्थ लिखिए। आप इस कार्य में शब्दकोश, इंटरनेट, शिक्षक या अभिभावकों की सहायता भी ले सकते हैं।

“रहिमन देखि बड़ेन को, लघु न दीजिये डारि । जहाँ काम आवे सुई, कहा करे तलवारि ॥”
इस दोहे का भाव है— न कोई बड़ा है और न ही कोई छोटा है। सबके अपने-अपने काम हैं, सबकी अपनी-अपनी उपयोगिता और महत्ता है। चाहे हाथी हो या चींटी, तलवार हो या सुई, सबके अपने-अपने आकार-प्रकार हैं और सबकी अपनी-अपनी उपयोगिता और महत्व है। सिलाई का काम सुई से ही किया जा सकता है, तलवार से नहीं। सुई जोड़ने का काम करती है जबकि तलवार काटने का। कोई वस्तु हो या व्यक्ति, छोटा हो या बड़ा, सबका सम्मान करना चाहिए।
अपने मनपसंद दोहे को इस तरह की शैली में अपने शब्दों में लिखिए | दोहा पाठ से या पाठ से बाहर का हो सकता है। उत्तर: बड़े बड़ाई न करै; बड़ो न बोले बोल । रहिमन हीरा कब कहैं, लाख मेरो टकै का मोल रहीमदास जी कहते हैं कि जिनमें बड़प्पन होता है वे अपनी बड़ाई स्वयं कभी नहीं करते। उनके कार्य ही उनके कौशल को दर्शा देते हैं। जैसे हीरा कितना भी बहुमूल्य क्यों न हो लेकिन कभी अपने मुँह से अपने बारे में नहीं कहता। हमें भी अपने गुणों को दर्शाना नहीं चाहिए। वे स्वतः ही हमारे कार्यों के माध्यम से सबके समक्ष आ जाते हैं। जैसे- कुशल खिलाड़ी अपने खेल से, बावर्ची अपने स्वादिष्ट पकवानों से अच्छा नर्तक अपने नृत्य से श्रेष्ठ गायक अपने गायन से प्रतिभाशाली विद्यार्थी अपने परिणाम से ही जाना जाता है।
